I've been using the RV Fresh Water Pressure Pump 12V 5.5GPM 70PSI in my Travel Trailer for a few months now, and it has been working flawlessly. The pump is quiet and draws very little power, which is important when you're running off battery power. Initially, the pump was delivering water at a pressure that was a little too high for my liking, but I was able to adjust it down to 55psi and it's been working great ever since. I've had no issues with low water pressure, and the pump has been able to keep up with my demand for water. I also purchased the 5.0GPM 55PSI 12V model, but had an issue with the pressure switch. However, the company was quick to resolve the issue and I was very pleased with their customer service. Overall, I would highly recommend the RV Fresh Water Pressure Pump 12V 5.5GPM 70PSI for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient water pump for their RV. I paired the unit with a 100 watt Renogy Panel and a small EBL Solar Generator and a Gaveenon Instant Propane Water heater and a 12 volt cigarette lighter style extension cord and ran the water line to an adjacent IBC tote to create a shower in the porch. All items except the water tote were purchased on Amazon. Adjacent to it, I put a portable washing machine, also bought on Amazon. The pump is on demand and works strongly to provide for all of my needs. This is my second unit because the first was outdoors and the wiring sheath is made with a soy based plastic that desert rats eat. When I went to replace the wires on the first one, I did NOT realize the unot jad internal spring loaded brushes. I thought it was brushless. So...when I removed the housing, the springs shot off into the sunset across the Sonoran Desert Wilderness! It was morw cost effective to replace it than sourcing springs...a good and solid unit! ... show more

Bought because of the affordable price. Lasted less than a month. I'll be buying a better quality pump to replace this cheap hunk of crap. This company has contacted me and has offered to send a new pump with upgraded pressure switch if I pay for shipping. I informed them I considered that to be VERY poor customer service. Quality companies ship a new pump with a PREPAID return label for the old pump. I'll wait a few days and see how they respond. As of now, I stand by my bad review of this worthless pump. Update......they sent a replacement pump, free and did not want me to return the old pump. I installed the new pump and it worked properly for the 2 days I was at the campsite. As soon as I'm able to go and stay for a longer period of time I will give another update, For now the pump is working properly and the company does stand behind their product.     • Broke within 10 minutes! Terrible product - useless - pump burst at seams spraying water everywhere

I connected this to my house outdoor water spigot to power several lawn sprinklers - since my home water pressure wasnt good enough and I was hoping this would boost the pressure. Well in the 10 minutes it was actually on - it barely increased the pressure. It was almost an unnoticeable difference. Then its supposed to have an automatic shutoff when there is no water coming in, and that wasnt functioning, so it would keep running continuously whenever it was plugged in. And finally in 10 minutes, the entire pump housing burst, with water spraying out from all seems. Could not rate this any lower! Wish i could get my money back because it is a completely defective unit, but i didnt have time to try it until after my return window. We mainly use this pump to pump rain water from our totes to water our garden with. This thing moves a lot of water quickly and quietly. I also used it to pump winter washer fluid into my rear tires off my TYM tractor for added weight. I really like the screen strainer that comes with it for catching debris before it hits the pump. I went through 3 other pumps and finally landed with this one. It is amazingly quiet. All I did was hook this up with my existing hoses and power and it worked right out of the gate. I was amazed at how quiet is is and powerful. I am using the default settings for GMP and it works for me. I have this hooked up to a 5 gallon water jug, that I put in fruit punch mix and I am now utilizing my keg fridge. So no more beer, just fruit punch. And this pump pushes out at a perfect speed and pressure. I love this and as for longevity, we shall see. |So far its been 3 months and going strong. ... show more
