It’s small, compact, and very easy to set up using the Yoto app. The portability makes it perfect for travel or quiet time at home, and the screen-free design is a big win for keeping my child entertained without needing a tablet or phone. With options ranging from stories and music to podcasts and radio, there’s always something engaging. The sound quality is clear, and the volume can be adjusted easily, which is great for tailoring the listening experience based on the situation. One of my favorite features is the “Make Your Own Card” option. It was so easy to use through the app, and I added some free Frozen audio, which my daughter absolutely loves. I’m also excited to explore more libraries to create additional cards, selecting content that’s both educational and tailored to her interests. Overall, the Yoto Mini is fun, educational, and incredibly easy to use. My favorite thing I ever bought for our kids. Worth every penny. We own 2 Yoto Mini’s and 1 Yoto Player and absolutely love them ! My older kids prefer the Mini’s because they’re easier to carry around and our youngest likes the Player because of the bigger “screen” and also it’s easier for her to use it . It’s easy to use even for younger kids. Their app is great and we really like the make your own cards as you can record yourself or grandparents or whoever or you can just buy audiobooks and add them to the MYO card . Also yoto has a great variety of cards for all ages . Their subscription is also a cool option. This is such a nice device to keep kids off screens .     • It’s a hit
The media could not be loaded. I’m so glad our Yoto mini arrived on a rainy day because it kept my kids occupied inside and was on the entire day. My 4 yo said to me “dude, we’re doing Yoto EVERY day!” It is so nice that my daughter can listen to music without being dependent on my phone (or me!) It is very easy for her to navigate through different tracks independently with the little picture icons. I had a little trouble figuring out how to add our own music to a make-your-own card, but I like the function of being able to record myself reading their favorite stories. When you’re recording it even has a button to add a chime for a page turn, much like the cassettes of my childhood. Sound quality is great, especially considering how small it is. It’s also made to withstand littles because it was dropped during a dance party but no harm was done. It’s been so useful for easing my daughter’s anxiety in the mornings before school. It keeps her mind occupied, which was one of my hopes. It also had been successful at keeping my high energy kids at the dinner table without it becoming a battle of wills! We absolutely love these! We got them on sale at Christmas time and it’s nearly April and they have been used almost every day. They are durable and simple to use. I also like that the cards don’t take up a ton of room. Yoto also has a growing great selection of audio to listen to. We don’t do screens besides some TV and this gives my kids some autonomy and control to pick out what they want to listen to and they have just really enjoyed them. ... show more

We have had a full size Yoto for years and finally agreed to buy each kid one of the minis. These are serious fun in a travel sized box. They were perfect for the plane, a doctors office and long car rides. The battery life is good and everyone loves the stories, podcasts and music.

Got this for my son for Christmas as a way to give entertainment away from a screen. He is just starting to get into story books and he loves it! He will sit there for an hour listening to book after book. I highly recommend this awesome little player! Plus it is super portable and battery lasts a long time.
