Bought this for the children for Christmas since they are notorious for leaving bits and pieces of play dough everywhere when they play. Thought it would be a great way to make the clean up fun for them. Unfortunately, the vacuum is very difficult to open and it doesn't pick up very well unless you only go in a long straight line. Backing up will not pick up anything. More frustrating than fun and now nobody plays with it. Gave it 3 stars because it does work in a straight line and it is a great concept. ... show more

This thing leaves little crumbly messes if play-doh everywhere. It also manages to find every piece of hair and debris and mix it with what little play-doh it manages to pick up. Wastes lots of play-doh if you’re particular about what gets put back in the container. How incredibly ironic that it resembles a vacuum cleaner… Thing is, my 4yo son LOVES it. Because it’s cheap, enjoyable, and also comes with quite a lot of doh… I still say it’s a buy. Just don’t let your kid play with it on the rug! I did have to help my son open the collection hatch a few times before he figured out how to get a little more thumb strength. ... show more

I think we all know kids will get some thing and play with it for a few minutes and then walk away and not go back to it or maybe go back to it for a little while and then nothing well so far that’s not how this is been when they received this they couldn’t get enough of it These are for my three great grandkids and I got them each a different Play-Doh toy and my great grandson loves to vacuum and he loves pushing a lawnmower in the back of course not the real one. It’s a plastic one and so this was perfect for him. He played with it all day long and I emphasize that because we have this Oil cloth table cover and he would walk away for a bit to eat and then go right back to it. This was not just the first day but the second day or third day and then I got a message can I get more play dough please so, of course I’ve got to order more, this is a wonderful tie and they won’t put it down ... show more

Not in the sense of it being a literal vacuum but in the sense that it sucks in your kid’s attention and they will beg to get it out and play with it. I had originally bought this on super deal as a gift to have on hand but made the mistake of not stashing it away before my kids saw it. Not sure if this was previously used/ opened, but it was missing an eye and several other pieces... Can't return because my daughter wanted to play with it regardless, so it is technically "used". This was junk. The vacuum roller doesn't spin, the back where playdough is SUPPOSED TO collect is IMPOSSIBLE for a child to open on their own (hard to open for me as well), we were missing 2 containers of playdough and the collection cup was not in the box, etc. This was just a mess, played with once - most likely won't be used again. It isn't really fun for my daughter, and the missing eye is just an insult to injury. I'm VERY disappointed and will second guess purchasing playdough products in the future due to the "quality" of what I received... ... show more

Seemed great it theory but this is a parents nightmare to clean. There's a tool that makes "dust". In the shape of stars. Stardust. Ha! But really it's just a crumb maker. And there's a decent amount that gets stuck in the tool and a MAJOR pain to get out because the inside spins so you can't get good leverage to scoop it out. After a couple uses the play doh was half dried out. Vacuum only works if you press down on table hard. If you just slide it, it's a shovel. After a week kids stopped playing with it and only use the roller and couple other small tools with their other play doh sets. ... show more
