This is a nice charging dock for a Quest 2 in that it has cool lighting, fits multiple types of straps, and provides an easy conversion for wireless charging of the controllers. I'm using an elite strap and it has enough expansion toward the back to allow the back of my strap to rest nicely on the dock. There is a small amount of assembly required - the expanding rear cantilevered support needs to be screwed onto the translucent main Quest support, and then the main support slides vertically into a slot on the base. The base has enough weight to prevent any tipping. There are 2 USB-C ports located on the back of the base - an inlet and outlet, to accommodate the two USB-C to USB-c cords provided. The longer cord is to power the dock while the shorter can be used in the outlet port to power the VR unit. Note that this kit does NOT come with a wall adapter, so you will need to provide your own, of which it's recommended to use an 18W or higher adapter. This kit comes with 2 rechargeable 1600 mAh AA batteries and matching controller covers that you will swap in for the original covers. The provided covers have two exterior contact charge points that allow the batteries to be charged when placed CORRECTLY in the base charger. You will know when the controllers are placed correctly in the charger because the light for the respective controller lights up on the base - red means it's charging/white means it's at full charge. Pressing the center button on the base switches the LED light between on/off/blue/white. Overall, I really like this dock. While the battery is a smaller capacity than my Duracell rechargeable AA batteries, it's nice to be able to just place them on the dock to charge. The two drawbacks to this dock are 1) the unique one-off batteries that will need to be replaced sometime down the road (hopefully years) that are not standard and 2) you may need to remove your controller grips like I did in order to charger. I can see removing the grips will be a pain every time I charge, almost rendering the point of getting this dock useless, so I am going to try to modify my grips so that the contact points are exposed. It's a great charging dock for the Quest 2, so depending on price and discounts, may be well worth the price if you can work through the grip issue. ... show more

If you have a kid with a Meta Quest 2, you, like me, are going through batteries so fast it's ridiculous. My husband and I even bought a battery tester to make sure the batteries were completely dead before replacing. This awesome charger has rechargeable batteries that charge when you set it on this charging station! No more changing batteries twice a week! This charging dock is not only great for charging, it makes it so my kids' quest isn't lying all over the house- it has a specific spot for them to put their Quest away. I really like this charging stand for my Occulus 2. It was easy to assemble, comes with extra rechargeable batteries for the controllers, and mostly I like that it keeps my device charged and orderly. The charging stand fits perfectly in my entertainment center and saves space over having my Occulus in a drawer or laid out. The only drawback I've noticed is that the controllers must be set on the stand just right to charge. This isn't much of a problem as I'm just more careful about making sure the controllers are actually charging before I walk away. Overall I do recommend this charging dock. It's attractive, works well, saves space, and comes with extra batteries so my device is always ready to play when I have the time. ... show more

    • Exactly what I needed for my Oculus/Meta Quest 2!
Not only does this charging dock deliver on the promise of fast charging, but it's exactly what I needed to keep my Oculus/Meta Quest organized and not crammed into my couch-side drawer. For the longest time, I just kept my Meta Quest 2 in the drawer, connected to charging cables until I was ready to play it. Now, I can just proudly place the dock on top of the stand, place my Meta Quest 2 on it to charge, and I feel so much better and more apt to play my Meta Quest 2 since I don't have to dig it out of the drawer and unhook it from the charging wires all the time! This charging station uses a vertical design to minimize the amount of space needed to accommodate the quest. The stand is extraordinarily easy to assemble, which is basically putting 2 pieces into a slot. With two of us gaming and several systems things can get really untidy. Now I have the perfect set up for not just charging but fast recharging! I love having everything recharge in one place since I have batteries charging all over the house. It’s sturdy and takes up only a small place on the end table. One of the things I really love about this too is it’s going to be great for travel. Especially internationally with limited outlets due to the need for using a converter.
