Has to be perfectly placed on the charger to actually work. And many times once it is confirmed that it is charging, it stops. Unreliable. Also cannot charge a phone and another item in the tray at the same time. No difference than just have a plug for one item at this point. Will be returning it

Purchased because has a usb-c port to plug in additional devices. Unfortunately it seems to be incompatible with an iPad. Using an Apple cable, it gives an error and won’t charge. Cable is fine, use the cable with the Apple charger no issue. Wireless charging for the phone works ok. It’s very sensitive on placement but once figure it out, it charges. Just have to be careful to put it exactly in the right place otherwise won’t charge. Too easy to set it in the wrong spot. Can’t simply toss it on the pad and count on it charging. ... show more

Not great at penetrating phone cases, small thin case and you are fine. The 'sweet spot' for charging is also fickle, other than that works as advertised.

It has a small charge zone and the tray concept is strange. Works really well in the charge zone but it's not worth the money for what you get.

    • great concept but difficult to use
I found that this was a interesting item to add to my entryway furniture so that I could easily put a phone down onto this pad and have a charge. unfortunately I was wrong getting my iphone situated just right so that it can receive a charge requires a awful level of precise measuring so that it is in the exact spot that a charge is offered. the concept of dropping your phone onto the pad and receiving a charge is not a thing. however the charge port is decent and I connected a 6 inch charging wire to that and use that most of the time . ... show more

It’s a great idea. But it’s inconsistent. Yes, it’s supposed to work through phone cases, and yes, it works well. WHEN IT WORKS. I have two and only one can charge consistently. It’s not a problem with the design, it’s a problem with quality control. I can’t believe how many of these are shipping and people are being saddled with that are not working how they’re supposed to. KeySmart is letting faulty coils get into peoples homes and for the price, that’s simply unacceptable. ... show more
