This mat is really comfortable and provides the needed support for exercise. The thickness is also true to the product description which adds to the support. I haven’t had any issues with it slipping while doing strength training. The length is perfect for myself (5’3) and hubby (5’11).

I have been using the thin rubber mat (right side of the picture)for yoga for the last few years however since staying home most of the time this year, I decided to try the thicker one. I am glad I did.I like the material with the thickness. My knees are really thankful for this softness.

This is the best yoga mat I’ve ever had! It’s super thick and easy on your knees, no hard surfaces felt from underneath, just comfy. It has very helpful guides, and is extra wide and long which is also great! Oh, and it has a carrying strap that wraps it up very nicely. I ordered this looking for a more cushioned yoga mat - while I was pleased with the cushion of this mat, the poor quality and production made it so I was only able to enjoy this mat for 2 yoga classes before the top layer started peeling. I use a yoga towel on top of this mat so I was surprised and disappointed to get minimal use. I will also add that the pattern on the top is really wonky- it's a pattern that was printed onto this askew - DO NOT STARE AT PATTERN WHILE PRACTICING YOGA- it will make you INCREDIBLY dizzy as the layout of pattern is far from straight. I passed the return window so I now use this as a dog liner for the backseat of my car. I'll save up to buy a legit mat now!!! ... show more

Update: the seller sent a replacement mat that included the strap. It arrived within days of my alerting the seller We appreciate the responsive customer service, if not the Amazon Prime delivery truck that backed into our driveway at 6:45 this morning. Well I suppose that is all in the name of very quick customer service. As already noted, the mat is fine and I should think will hold up. Actually, the mat is fine. It was delivered without a strap and Beautyovo customer service has yet to reply to my email advising them of the problem. Its been about a week and compared to other companys' response time, this seems unresponsive at best. Will be happy to update this review if the company makes good. ... show more

This is a great yoga mat... it had no smell out of the box. It was very cushioning even on my hardwood floors but it seemed stable enough to stand on and have good support. It seemed pretty grippy although I used it for strengthening exercises and not for yoga so I can’t say how it would hold up if you were sweating. I sent it back because I needed a wider one for my purposes. I wished this company had a wide version because I really liked the amount of cushioning.
