This mat is great for a stretching or a lite flow session. The mat gets a little slippery during a more intense yoga session making it hard to hold when you are at an angle and your weight is pushing your anchors away from each other.

The mat has really good cushioning and the design is great. It does retain stains more than I thought, but I can deal with that. So, the material is very absorbent, so I would recommend using a light cleaning agent after every use. The only true con with this mat is its durability factor. If you choose to wear shoes, be prepared for tearing. I have used three different yoga mats and while this one has the greatest comfort and anti-slip features, the durability needs improvement. ... show more

Don’t get me wrong, it’s decent, pretty thick and will be comfortable to use, but in no way is it non-slip like they try to make it seem. Great grip was the thing that sold me on it because they claimed its non-slip, but the moment I tried a down-dog on it, my hands kept slipping forward. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the $40 because of that and also because the material doesn’t seem like it will last long-term. So I’m a bit disappointed. ... show more
