I simply love this rake. The best way I can put it is that it is a cross between a plastic lawn leaf rake and a metal dirt rake. It was simple to assemble. It is very easy to use because of what I said about the cross between the two. Works great when in need of a good raking. I generally don't get too many leaves here in Florida but the rake has come in handy when in need. The metal tines are a plus since I seem to get a lot of rocks in different locations on my front yard. Rake works great for the rocks. Shipping was in a smaller box in which I didn't think the rake was inside. Sure enough, it's the rake as well as portions of the handles that you'd screw on. Handles are quite sturdy. ... show more

PROS: Easy assembly/disassembly and storage functions, long enough handle even if you are tall, good reach under and between things, flexible metal tangs work well, built in hanging hole if you want to leave it assembled. CONS: Won't cover as much ground or rake as fast as a 30 wide one...(but, fits better in narrower spaces), great for gardening, mulching and other tasks where the plastic based tang ones don't work well, haven't found a rake yet that doesn't poke through and then hold leaves and debris, but this one cleans out easily with a quick back brush of your hand, if not tightened enough, the screw on handles can rotate while using. This rake is taller than I expected when completely assembled. There are three parts to the pole so you could remove the center one and have a shorter rake The pole is resistant to bending, and the tines on the rake are firm. I find it to be a nice size. Leaf rakes that are too large are unwieldy for me. Great for raking up leaves or, in our case, bits of dog toys scattered around the yard. ... show more

This amazing little leaf rake comes in a small, flat box in pieces. I was very impressed with the connections between the pieces and how solid it is when assembled. The tines are metal and well supported. Overall, it’s not a large leaf rake, which I count as a benefit. Most of the really large rakes leave me over extending and the leaves fall out over the top anyway. This one is similar to the size of a good broom and I see myself doing a better job with it, as I tend to use somewhat of a sweeping motion when I rake up my leaves. This rake has a narrower spread than a standard leaf rake, but it has shown itself to be a good addition. It excels at raking up smaller items from the yard. The handle is comfortable, and the rake is well balanced. Very useful!
