The material does not easily allow space for roots to develop through it. Most of my seeds did not germinate with these pods, while doing well in others. It’s too late to return them. What a waste.

They seem to be decent pods, but I definitely wouldn't use them for larger seeds. When wet, they still stay very firm, not leaving much give for young lrg seeds that need space to expand (ie: squash, pea and bean) so I feel like it suffocated 50% of the seeds from sprouting. Of the ones that did make it, they seem to be doing fine. No issues. Use them for small seeds like tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, etc. Otherwise find a brand that gets soft and pliable when wet. ... show more
