This did the job I needed it to do - provide some shelf space in a narrow closet. It's sturdy enough. Measurements were accurate. Note: as the description indicates - these are fixed level shelves. In other words, you can't adjust the height of the shelves. The only issues I have: Instructions could be clearer. They were obviously written by someone who is not proficient with English and there was one thing that confused me so I ended up having to deconstruct and re-construct again once I realized I misunderstood the instructions. I later found out that if you supplement the paper instructions that come in the packaging with the instructions posted on the Amazon item page - it's better. Although, about those plastic shelf clips, or stoppers - not sure why they call them "card covers". And I also received what seem to be additional plastic parts that aren't listed in the "parts list" and not noted in any stage of the instructions. Not sure how they're supposed to be used, if at all. Just confusing... ... show more

I took a chance buying this rack despite it not having much reviews. It was the only rack that was able to have one-day shipping so I figured it was worth it. It came in a box that was not too big and assembling it was easy because I did not need any tools. The parts they give attach to each other very easily. You are able to adjust how much tiers you need (for example, I did 4 racks and then a smaller 2 rack due to my ceiling limit). Make sure you put the screws at the very top because it helps a lot with support and prevents it from being easily tipped over. It could have been a little sturdier but it is still great quality for the price. As for the items, I put lighter items on it as my entryway rack such as backpacks and if I receive any packages. I think this is an excellent buy from my experience because of the price point as well as the great attention to consumer experience. It was easy to assemble and use within 20 minutes. I didn’t have very high expectations when this arrived. However, ALL the pieces were there AND they fit into the holes! This shelf was purchased to fit inside a pantry (that is under a set of stairs) and it was just what I needed.

1st they were easy to assemble although the directions leave a lot to desire 2nd this is the first shelving unit that I can't reverse the shelves..you have to put them so that there is a lip..see photo ..that is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars
