My wife has been asking me to buy an outdoor heater for our Wood Gazebo with an Aluminum Roof. Last winter, I used the propane patio heaters during a holiday family gathering. It was nice, but I don’t like to keep changing the propane can whenever it is low, and I have to find a place to store it because my kids would always crash into it when they ride the bikes. Now, with this electric patio heater, I can mount it right under the gazebo and quickly tap into the electricity as I have beautiful LED string lights decorated around the gazebo. The heater is IP55 waterproof, so I don’t need to worry about it even when it is raining; however, I can foresee dust accumulating on or inside the heater, and the easiest way to clean it is to use the air blower to clean off the dust. I tested it with P3, the highest heat level, which is adequate for my 12’ X 16’ gazebo. If you have Solar, try to convert your appliances to electric-only because it would save you a lot of money in the long run. ... show more

The heater was easy to install and can run on any 15A 110V outlet. It heats up instantly, but the heat output is very much directional. It is great for heating an area at a workbench where you are sitting, for example, but is not very good for providing warmth for even a small, but open area. It comes with a remote but a battery for it is not included. I am happy I have it, but it has its limitations. ... show more

This product arrived quickly and in minimal waste packaging. This heater couldn't arrive at a more convenient time. It is starting to get cold in NE and this heater is perfect for my basement. The heater mounts to the wall very easily. Its very light for a heater and it heats the basement up rather quickly... within about a half hour. I love that it comes with a controller so I can stay at the top of the stairs, point and shut off the heater. BE AWARE that the controller does NOT come with a battery which I think is a little cheap... and I feel should have been included so i took off a star. ... show more

Even though this heater heats up quickly it draws way more electricity than it should. It's definitely not one you could use inside.

    • Wow, this thing throws some heat!
This far surpassed my expectations. I figured it would be like any electric heater you use inside, just bigger... nope, this is more like a propane heater, but without having to hassle with gas, or if you're like me, forgetting to refill your gas. Happily, the medium setting is enough for us unless the temperatures get seriously cold. It heats up almost instantly, doesn't make any sound, and looks really cool when on. The mount is secure enough when installed per the instructions (it has to be on a wall, no ceiling or floor mounting). The remote functions as it should. My one minor gripe is that I wish the cord were a bit longer, but it'll likely still work well for most people's uses and if you're handy, it's not hard to change out a cord. I love that I can enjoy my porch projector for most of the 4 seasons now. ... show more

Got this heater for an outdoor space under my deck. I live in the midwest where we have a lot of cold days and want to be able to spend as much time outdoors comfortably as I can. I like that this is electric and I don't have to fuss with propane. It will be covered and not directly exposed to the elements. I will unplug it when not in use. It has three settings and a remote which is great. Puts off a lot of heat - enough for me to sit outside for a while and not be freezing. ... show more

This patio heater does exactly what it's supposed to do. Be careful mounting it and follow the clearance directions. I had concerns about mounting it on my vinyl siding, so my overly anxiety filled self, mounted a heat shield to my patio wall, which I then mounted my heater to. Works great. I used a piece of plywood covered in thin sheet metal, which I think actually helps reflect the heat. Great for out patio. ... show more
