  • So helpful
Size: TD-30L
I've used this on 2 of my tripods, and they work like a charm. I'm definitely going to buy another one.

  • Great tripod dolly!
Size: TD-30L
This YELLBIN TD-30L heavy-duty tripod dolly is extremely well designed and well-made. It has two different ways of connecting a tripod, light stand, or C-stand to the dolly, which gives you a lot of versatility in what kinds of stands you can put on it. It is pretty lightweight, and has a really convenient carry handle. It also comes with a carrying bag, but with the handle, I probably won't use it much. The legs are extendable but they do have a minimum, so if your tripod is smaller this might not work for you if it's not almost fully extended. They do sell a smaller version that would probably work great for smaller tripods. I put a pretty lightweight tripod on this dolly and love that it adds a little bit of weight at the bottom and makes the tripod much more rigid and stable, in addition to giving it mobility and being able to easily move it around. The wheels roll very smoothly, even on fairly thick carpet in my office/studio. The wheels also lock in place so you can keep it from accidentally moving while filming. Overall, this is a great, inexpensive tripod or light stand dolly. It's sturdy, well-designed, and very useful. ... show more

  • Delightfully better than expected - sturdy, compact, and easy to set up, adjust, and roll.
Size: TD-30L
This is a review of the YELLBIN TD-30L Photography Professional Heavy Duty Tripod Dolly, with an ASIN of B0BYVJ19M5. Short version (TL;DR) - Negatives: Spacers somewhat easy to lose. Minor listing issue. Positives: Sturdy. Quick to set up / adjust. Versatile. Rolls easily. Casters are double-locking. Easy to store and transport. Long version … Frankly, I just wasn’t expecting this dolly to be this nice. I’ve been very favorably surprised by it, with how well done virtually all aspects of it are. If you don’t want to keep reading, I would recommend it. On the other hand, if you’re in the mood for a detailed breakdown … Negatives: * Spacers at Risk - part of the versatility of this unit is that it has two styles of clamps on the top, including one suitable for catching tripod feet and the other style focused on capturing the more cylindrical leg-ends of a light stand. The latter mechanism is made all the more adjustable by included spacers, allowing it to accept a wide range of diameters. Unfortunately, if one were to leave the light stand leg clamps loose, these spacers can fall out and be lost. This is, obviously, something that can be prevented through user awareness, and so I see it as a minor issue. * Listing Issue - for some reason, this listing has an erroneous “5 pack” sticker on it. As there’s nothing else in the listing that would imply that you actually receive 5 dollies for this price, I think this is a pretty minor issue, but it’d still be nice if somebody fixed it. Positives: * Sturdy - despite packing down tiny, and thus having to extend a lot, this thing is rock solid. It hasn’t flexed or wiggled to any noticeable degree when I’ve been using it, which is a harder thing to accomplish than it may look. I am impressed. * Quick Set Up / Adjust - the dolly flips open with two, captive, pull-pins. Once that’s done, it’s just a matter of releasing the caster locks and flipping open the tripod-leg-like clamps on the three arms - which are nicely marked to make it easy to balance the amount of extension. After that, if you’re using a tripod, position the feet near the outer edges of the legs, and the clamps will nicely center them as they close. If it’s a light stand, then figure out if you need the spacers and then lock them in place. That’s it. After having done it a few times it’s very quick. * Versatile - as implied above, this adjusts over a large range of sizes, as well as accommodating both tripods and a range of light stand types. * Rolls Easily - despite the casters not being that large, I found this rolls easily, even across carpet. * Double-Locking Casters - this includes an absolutely fantastic feature, and that is double-locking casters. I also ran into them recently on a great little light stand , but they’re great for most photography uses, so the more the merrier. The concept is simple - when you hit the locking lever for the caster, it not only keeps the wheel from rotating, but also prevents the casters from swiveling, which results in the whole assembly being terrifically stable once locked. It’s a very, very good thing. * Easy Storage & Transport - the dolly folds down easily, includes a handy, captive, hook-and-loop strap to secure the legs, and comes with a carrying back in which to tuck the whole thing. In the end, I think this is a pretty good choice for a dolly, and the negatives are so minor that it deserves 5 stars. ... show more

  • This is a rarity!
Size: TD-30L
I'm a professional engineer who works in product design. So I see bad product designs on retail shelves far more often than excellent ones and I see those far less than what might be called ideal designs. When all factors are considered, this product is an ideal design to solve the problem of adding mobility to stationary tripods, in my opinion. One important consideration in product design is of course the durability. Every facet of this product looks and feels very high quality and extremely durable to tolerate commercial-levels of abuse and still function elegantly. But beyond that is simplicity. Is this design the simplest one that solves the problem? Again, when you really consider all of the variables at play when needing to accommodate almost every tripod on Earth, I cannot conceive of a simpler, more effective, or more elegant design. For example, you could try slapping individual casters directly onto each of the legs, but there are a lot of issues with that approach, not the least of which is structural integrity. Take another look at a tripod that includes wheels and compare with one that doesn't. The ones with wheels include folding crossbars beneath the point where the legs meet the central pole. Those are there to provide the necessary support to keep the legs from splaying or bending. This product is the best solution to adding the support that those crossbars achieve in a generic way that doesn't require any drilling. One minor feature that I've never seen before is the caster locking mechanism. We all know that if you press the little lever down, it will engage a brake preventing the caster wheel from turning. These wheels do that. But additionally, it also locks the caster swivel. I'm not sure how much real value that adds. But it does speak well to the quality of the components as well as the care and thought that went into this product design. The tripod pictured is a Manfrotto 190X. I figure that qualifies as a "gold standard" tripod. I haven't tried it with the big Manfrotto boom stand yet (because I don't really want my mic rolling around), but I have every confidence that it would work flawlessly. You just have to remember to sandbag and recheck your balance to account for the additional height. ... show more

  • Fits my COMAN Video Tripod
Size: TD-30L
sold tripod dolly. Have been looking for one since I bought the video tripod. The rubber wheels are smooth and quiet, and the legs of the dolly are expandable so that you can raise your tripod to the highest without the need to take the dolly off. So far the only issue is for my COMAN video tripod, you can't set the tripod to its lowest when having the dolly on. The minimum length of the legs of the dolly is still a little bit longer. ... show more
