  • No frost and condensation
Size: 80 Cans
The media could not be loaded. When I got it, it came with four black wire shelves, two keys, a stainless steel handle, an instruction manual, and an L-shaped screwdriver. The beverage cooler is a free-standing unit, and I placed it in the living room. I did a 24-hour wait for the liquids in the compressor to settle before plugging it in and turning it on. The installation of the stainless steel handle required lifting the rubber gasket slightly, where the holes for the screws were located. I inserted the included two handle screws, lock washer, and flat washer into the side of the door from the inside to the outside, and I aligned the holes in the handle with the screws. I tightened the screws using the included L-shaped screwdriver until the base of the handle reached the level of the door and I made sure that the handle was tightened enough so it wouldn't wiggle. Then, I put back the rubber gasket in place to seal the door. The door has a stainless steel frame and thick glass, and there is hardware to reverse the side of the door, but I have no need to do that. The next day, I connected the wine cooler to a surge protector and then to a wall outlet as my neck of the woods, Southern Florida, is prone to frequent thunderstorms. Initially, when I pressed the power button the first time to turn on my beverage cooler, I thought it was not working. However, I later realized that a long press of the power button for five seconds, according to the manual, was required to turn it on. Once on, the wine cooler began cooling. By the way, the power button is on the control panel. In this control panel is also a button to turn on and off the cool blue LED light inside the fridge at the top, a small display that shows the current inside temperature, and minus and plus buttons to decrease and increase the temperature respectively. My unit was set to display the temperature in Celsius, but I switched to Fahrenheit by long-pressing the light on/off button for a few seconds. Its temperature range is 34 degrees Fahrenheit for the lowest setting and 54 degrees Fahrenheit for the highest setting. It holds approximately 80 regular 12 oz bottles if all shelves and the bottom are used. The shelves make it effortless for me to grab beverages as they can be pulled out 1/3 of the way. A lock is located near the bottom of the door, for which there are two keys. I use the lock to secure expensive beverages. The wine cooler does not require defrosting, as it does this automatically. To prevent odors, the wine cooler is equipped with a charcoal filter, located inside on the left side of the fan at the top. The manual advises replacing the filter every year. I removed the black charcoal filter by turning and pulling it out to see if it had any model number on it so I could determine the correct replacement part. I did not find any model number, but when I googled a charcoal filter for the beverage cooler I found products that look identical to the one I currently have in my cooler. In the worst case where I can't find a replacement filter down the road, I could cut open the back of the filter with a sharp utility knife and replace the old carbon granules with new ones. Overall, this wine cooler works as expected. I experienced no frost build-up and saw no condensation on my bottles or cans since I've turned it on over a month ago. The bottles stay dry inside. It maintains the target temperature, and I haven't smelt any odors. The unit is also silent. I barely hear it operating when I'm in front of it. I think the blue light inside makes it look very cool. ... show more

  • Perfect fit
Size: 48 Bottles
First of all, a commendable job of packaging by Veego. This was packed in a foam cushion which doesn't break up, is resilient to bumps and regains its shape. There were no scratches or dents. It fit our cabinet opening perfectly, still allowing air to circulate efficiently around the entire unit. We waited a full 48 hours after placing in desired spot, then plugged it in and set the temps. All the drawers pull out and beverages are kept cool. It's also relatively quiet. A note attached from Veego said they were a new startup company and striving to manufacture good products. I hope it continues to work well, but at this point, the company and the product are winners. ... show more

  • Love the fridge but arrived damaged
One door was damaged. Responsive customer service. Took a couple weeks to get replacement door. Works great though.

  • Everything stays cool and very dry inside
The media could not be loaded. The wine and beverage cooler combo arrived at my doorstep in two separate boxes. They were heavy but I could push them inside. I cut the white plastic ties, removed the tops of the boxes and saw I could effortlessly lift the boxes then. Both, the 15-inch wine and the beverage cooler came with their own instruction guides packed in resealable zip tie bags along with a few pieces of hardware like screws, nuts, tools to reverse door, and a pair of keys. From the outside, both coolers look identical with a black finish and tempered glass doors. I can place the coolers side by side or separately, offering me flexibility in their arrangement. Inside, the wine cooler has wooden front ends on each shelf. As I examined the coolers, I noticed the handles were not yet installed. The instructions mentioned that the doors could be changed to either side, giving me the freedom to customize the setup according to my preference. I planned to put the two fridges side by side and want it to look like a French door style fridge. So, I was about to adjust the doors accordingly. I had to reverse only the door of the beverage fridge but discovered that two screws were terribly stuck. I would have to buy a screw extractor but for now each door opens from left to right. It’s bothersome for me to look at but it doesn’t affect function anyway. I carefully positioned the coolers in their designated spot. I have them freestanding side by side. The dimensions I measured were roughly 22 inches deep, 30 inches wide, and 34 inches high. With everything in place, I tested out the coolers. I stocked one of them with my water bottles, carefully placing the bottles on the adjustable shelves. The other cooler was dedicated to beverages, where I stored mostly juice bottles. The removable shelves made it possible for me to customize the space and accommodate larger bottles when needed. In the beverage cooler there is one control panel in the top with a power button, light button and up/down buttons to increase respectively increase temperature. It has one temperature display. To turn on the beverage cooler, I have to long-press the power button for seconds. I can set the temperature as low as 34 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 54 degrees. When I press the light button a blue light turns on. However, if I long-press it, the temperature unit switches to Celsius. The wine cooler also has a control panel but it is located in the middle and has two pairs of up/down buttons and two temperature displays. This is because the wine cooler has two temperature zones. This means I can set a different temperature for each the top and bottom temperature zone. According to manual, I have to set the temperature of the bottom zone either equal to or higher than the upper zone. Each temperature display has a rectangle icon below with a black and white half. I quickly figured that the white half indicates the temperature zone. For example, if the white half is at the bottom, it’s the bottom temperature zone. In the beverage cooler are three large shelves and one smaller shelf at the bottom. I see five shelves of equal size inside the wine cooler. I can remove any shelf from any cooler. Currently, I’m storing only water and juice bottles with a volume of mostly 0.5 L. In the wine cooler I can fit almost 90 said bottles, 88 in the beverage cooler. What I noticed while reading a book is the quiet operation of the the two coolers. I barely could hear them except when I am right next to them. Both coolers have an automatic defrosting system and an active charcoal filtration system to prevent odors. Out of curiosity, I took a look at the charcoal filter which I found inside near the upper left corner. I can remove the filter by twisting it counterclockwise. It’s still months ahead before I have to replace it but I couldn’t find any information in the manual where to buy a new one. I googled and I found a handful websites that sell a replacement filters with the same dimensions as the ones I have in my my coolers at prices ranging from $10 to up to $45. I wasn’t able to find it on Amazon but the cheapest I could find are sold in hardware stores. Each cooler has a lock at the bottom front right below the glass door. What I found out is that any key included with the coolers works for both. I’ve had my beverage and wine cooler working now for over a month and I haven’t seen any ice build up and no wet spots, condensation of any kind. Everything stays cool and very dry inside. ... show more

  • MUCH louder than advertised
Size: 180 Cans
The good: It looks cool with the blue light and clear glass door, and it cools the beverages. The bad: it is SO LOUD. The decibel rating was double than what was advertised. It is louder than my Refrigerator/Freezer in my kitchen. It’s also makes a clicking sound when it turns off and on. To put it into perspective how loud it is, it can be heard by all members of my family 50 feet away in the next room with the door closed. It’s not a humming sound, but rather an annoying white noise. We gave it a chance for a few days, but decided that we can’t tolerate it. At least we are able to return it, and for that I’m thankful. ... show more
