We love these plates! The pictures don’t do them justice. They have delightful subtle and expressive colors and an exquisite shine to them. The porcelain actually seems to make the food taste better and the medium size and extra lip allows them to complement our other sets and styles of plates. We are able use these to serve certain items such as mushroom hors d’oeuvres or sushi rolls etc. They hold their own as a main plate and their mix of conservative shades works well with different table settings and themes. These plates are also excellent for keeping foods fresh in a warm oven or into the freezer to chill something down and have a very Waldorf feel. They will do well in the dishwasher and stack very nicely on the shelf. They seem very solid and enduring. Be warned they are bit heavier than the average plate but that totally works as a plus, especially when entertaining giving that special mark of quality and presentation to the foods served. Note: Acording to our owners card insert Yedion has been in the business for 18 years and verified by BSCI, and SEDEX and the plates are conditioned at 2,462 F and made in a environmentally green process so these are a serious set of porcelain plates. ... show more

These plates are perfect colored light pastels. They go with white tablecloth and any other tablecloth. I love how easy they are to clean nothing really sticks to them. I love the fact that I could freeze them or I can put them right in the oven and bake something on them

Random fact though they do not lay flat on my sink which means a lot of water goes down the drain. I used to love putting my cheap plates below and then stacking other dishes on top and letting the sink fill up to losen a lot of the food as i washed. But its ok you can just skip that or buy a sink stopper. These dishes are gorgeous and only that darker shade which is grayish has a dark stain on it but its not a big deal. Theyre thin and light weight but i ate birria tacos and the sauce did not stain the beige plate. Having a white plate is redundant. We love the beige and could have used a bluish or purplish color to diversify the set. Does seem to scratch with utensils but its not noticeable really. Just wish things were quality in 2024. Whole new generation of grown ups and we dont get many things made with heart. Scratches my table if ypu slide the plate. ... show more

This set of plates is quite sturdy and heavier than I expected. The colors are great - subtle and pleasing. There is a good sized lip on the plates - I like that to help keep food in place - especially if it is a juicy or saucy meal. They stack well and are dishwasher and microwave safe. THe size is appropriate for lunch or a light dinner, not to serve a big meal. They came very well packaged with layers of foam padding between each plate and they arrived undamaged. ... show more

I really like the simple clean look of these dinner plates. They feel substantial without being too heavy. I don’t see any blemishes or inconsistencies in any of them. They have not showed signs of chipping even after a couple uses in busy settings and being stacked in the sink before washing.
