I have been considering a “cubby bed” for my kiddo, but they are expensive, and messing around with insurance is tiresome. I found a previous review on this product from a fellow autism parent and decided “yes, I’m buying this one right now” product fits description well. It’s literally a rectangular tent that fits over top of the bed, with no floor so it’s easy to move for cleaning. It comes with a carrying case just like a tent would, so it’s super portable and not heavy to carry. It was easy to assemble, took less than 10 minutes for my husband and I to put together for our kiddo. Our son used to launch himself into the air and SLAM his entire body weight onto his mattress when frustrated. He has broken several bed frames doing this, and shakes the entire house like a human wrecking ball. 😅 since purchasing… my son no longer tries to enter the basement through his bedroom floor lol, he gets more restful sleep, wakes up in a great mood, and has been seeking sensory input in other ways (such as using his exercise ball to bounce on). The media could not be loaded. My daughter is on the spectrum and we desperately needed something fast that wasn’t going to blow the bank. This has helped us so much, it’s breathable & super comfortable. Took us a couple tries to put on, but it fits perfect on a king bed. Now she actually stays in bed at bedtime.     • Flimsy but Works
There is no bottom and it ultimately goes around the bed (and box spring if you have it) and should generally sit on the bed frame whether thats wood or metal. For me it does hang off the edge a little and would honestly be easy to pull it off and mess things up if I were being intentional. I didn't have the space to set the tent up on the floor and then move it onto the bed so I had to assemble 3/4 sides and insert the final leg after I had already pulled the covering over the other sides. Unfortunately, there's only one width wise zipper door so you have to cognizant of how you pull on the covering. I had to undo it (after struggling a LOT) to rearrange it so I would have access to the opening. Because I have a box spring and a mattress the top of the tent doesn't totally allow me to sit upright without coming into contact with it. So I usually have to slouch more than I would want. It's utterly dark in the tent with all of the entrances closed (esp at night) so I suggest getting a battery powered light to put in there if you're the type to lounge in bed but you don't want to roll up one (or all) of the entrances. The side pockets are convenient but only on one side of the tent. However, I wish the pocket could slide in from the side and not top down because I store my glasses in the smaller pocket and end up kind of crushing them when I put my phone in the larger pocket. I can't say that I would buy it again and it'll definitely will be hell to put up again, but it wasn't a total waste of money and does serve it's purpose all things considered. I imagine this would be great when you're overstimulated. You can see out (a little) but absolutely no one is seeing in with the entrances closed. This would've been even more convenient if I were still in college and had a roommate. ... show more

This is a pretty flimsy and cheap product for the money. The material is so thin that it barely exists, same with the stitching. It flexes and is not sturdy in any way, and the zippers on the doors are cut too low, making it tough to get in and out of and blocking the view out of the front.     • Exactly what we needed to keep our injured pup from jumping!

We have a dachshund pup with a spinal injury and needed a way to keep him from jumping off the bed and reinjuring himself. This canopy tent has been perfect! Our 75 pound dog also is still able to jump in and onto his spot. We have PLENTY of head clearance and the fan still passes through the sheer mesh. Can't say enough great things about this product! Assembly...two of us put it together and it was no more difficult than putting up a small tent. We did have a problem with one of the corner pieces. I contacted customer service and they immediately responded and quickly sent us everything we needed (and more) to make sure that our problem was resolved. They stand behind their products! My only concern is that I'm going to need to order more...the grandbabies think it's a fort and are dying to play in it and sleep over now! (...which will also be an excellent way to keep children from rolling out of the bed!) :) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wish the instructions need to be written visually better, it's pretty simple and straight forward, only thing it requires is common sense. I think I got everything correctly. No where in the instructions does it indicate where h and m poles are suppose to be orientated on the diagram, and it's implied that the user assembles the back of the tent to the headboard, Overall, I love this purchase since I take my sleep very seriously, especially when I get the chance to sleep in. What would be cool is if it had a built in projector screen on the top underside of the roof where the user lays their head and then use a projector to watch movies/TV while laying down. But I bet that's bad in a lot of ways imaginable long term I guess. Idk. Anyways I wish there was a way to clip this onto my bed frame(you can see bed frame and tent pole, bed frame doesn't support tent pole, tent supports itself, as seen in last photo) so I could get the full height of the bed tent. Still, I'm pretty happy to own this. ... show more

This could be the worst product I’ve bought in years. It’s cheaply made, doesn’t fit the mattress. It says it will, it’s difficult to set up and it Arrived damage, despite being in its original packaging. It’s just a crap product in general.

We were tired of the cats and dog taking the entire bed, now we zip them out at night and get the best sleep. Does get hot inside so we have a standing fan we poke through the zipper at night and it’s perfect!
