    • Nice felt pad for under your pool
This is the perfect size for my 16" round Intext above ground pool. It just peeks out from the bottom but yet it protects all of it as well. Just unfold this where you want your pool and let it sit in the sun for a little while to soften and relax so you can get it flat. Put your liner down and smooth out all the wrinkles easily as the liner will slide on the felt pad. Fill 'er up and you're good to go. This gives a nice cushion to the bottom of the pool as well as protecting it from uneven surfaces and sharp objects. It’s a thin layer of protection. I still added some interlocking rubber cushions for extra protection. Besides the thinness, I think this works other than nothing.

I wish I had known these things existed sooner. I needed to put up an above-ground pool but was hesitating on it because I didn't want to purchase a bunch of sand and gravel to put below it. I saw someone mention in a pool forum that you could put foam below a pool, so I was actually looking for some of those garage floor tiles when I stumbled upon this. It was literally dumb luck. First off, this is less expensive than the foam tile idea I was going with and considerably less expensive than the sand and gravel approach. It also rolls out very quickly. It's hardly a chore at all compared to the methods I planned to use. I don't know how long it took us because I did other things at the same time, but it was very quick to set up. It's doing a good job. It's a nice barrier and we haven't had issues with weeds or anything poking through the pool liner. It also makes it softer on your feet when you're in the pool. I can't say if there are better models because I did not shop around, but I'm thrilled with this and wouldn't hesitate to order it again. ... show more

This was absolutely perfect for under the pool. I hate using the weed wacker around the pool and this solved the problem. It was easy to put down and I did not have any issues installing the pool over the top of it. I highly recommend it.

This material is THICK! We put this on top of soil and it helped so much. The pool is smooth and because it's so thick I know that nothing is going to grow through it.
