Some of the reviews of this item are just silly. People say it doesn't stick, falls off, or doesn't hold up an item. I have not found any of that to be true. It IS a double sided sticky pad that cannot be moved once stuck, you just have to peel off the red cover film to reveal the gray grip pad which is super sticky on both sides. The adhesion is super strong. I applied this to an outdoor aluminum pergola support leg to hold a louvre rotation handle so its taken direct sun, heavy rain, high wind, heat (into the 100's) since I put it up and there's no way this is coming off. It's permanently stuck. I applied this to a mold blown slippery plastic storage shed door to hold rakes, etc, and it stuck first time and I attempted to pull it back off, as an experiment, and it wouldn't budge. Good thing I placed it properly first, it isn't coming off yet. You need to measure the items you want to place inside it's flexible spongey like gripping wheels, so it fits properly. I used the information on the sales page to figure the size and without any modifications it holds my rakes, brooms, off the ground without slippage. Honestly, I don't see how anything, properly sized, would slip through its non scratching gripping arms unless it was 10 or more pounds. It's everything the marketing page says it is. I used this in an enclosed trailer so drilled holes and screwed it to the wall. Very pleased with the quality of the stainless steel. Recommended it to a friend and did the same for his trailer. I have no opinion on the adhesive since I didn't use it.

I ordered four of these. They all fail and can’t hold even a pound over time. I replaced their tape with 3M and it works fine but I sliced my hand removing the bad adhesive which barely works.
