I love the cage, I bought it to use as a In between for my iguana as he put grew his tank but isn’t ready for his 6ft cage. The instructions weren’t great as the parts weren’t labeled there were 2 different screw sizes mixed together and no instruction on which size goes where.. but I figured it out so all in all it’s not to bad ... show more

I bought it thinking it’d be more like the critter nation cage but the bottom of it is absolutely terrible for ferrets it’s all wired, the ramps are flimsy plastic & it’s super small. It’s only a few inches bigger than a cage I bought for 60$ Off Amazon😬 I would NOT recommend this cage. Go ahead and spend the extra for a critter nation! It was super difficult to assemble & the cleaning process is HORRIBLE. If I could give 0 stars I Would. If I didn’t have it all assembled and put together I would send it back. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The cage in itself is a great setup. However the welds on the side panels were broken which was extremely disappointing. We will have to figure a way to secure them so our rabbit does not get out or hurt herself.

The cage is more affordable but smaller. The distance between the bars is wider but adequate for a Guinea or in our case a young chinchilla. The bar opening is vertical instead of horizontal. The bottom of each section is cage so you have to use something as a floor depending on the animal. The tray actually slides in under the cage bottom instead of in the cage as the more expensive does. The ramps are more sturdy than the more expensive cage, I felt the ramps in the higher priced were too flimsy for heavier animals. The ramps don’t flex in this cage. Definitely a quality jump for the higher priced but this cage is adequate and worth the cost. Assembly in my opinion was not difficult if you use the diagrams and are good at assembling stuff. The picture on this item shows that it will work for sugar gliders. Not true. At all. Putting it together... the directions are simply pictures without wording. We did have an issue with a couple pieces not lining up properly and had to use pliers to bend a couple pieces. Overall, not difficult, just frustrating. Also it says the bars are 1/2 in. wide. Only on the top, middle and bottom. The sides are 1 in. apart. So I got the cage. Put it together. Brought home a pair of sugar glider babies, just to watch them escape. The bottom guard doesn’t “snap into place” so I ended up having to use zip ties to keep it in place. ... show more

    • NOT A DOUBLE DOOR CAGE
In the description it clearly states “full width double doors”. I took that to mean both doors on both stories open. That is completely incorrect! The left doors are actually welded shut. It’s not even a door at all. So you only have wide open access to half the cage. Not to mention it came in warped so putting it together was a pain. A proper description so I knew what I was actually getting would have gotten this product a better rating. Instead I feel as if I should have just spent the extra money and bought a critter nation so I would have got what I was expecting and not had to spend even more money to modify the cage to make it safe for my chinchilla.
