I bought this for my Electron Digitakt which lives on my desk. First thing I noticed is that it's freakin' heavy... seems to be very well made. The column that connects from each side is adjustable and gets locked down once you figure out how wide you want the stand to be. It has plastic feet to protect the surface, but I still want to put some felt pads under it because my desk is wood and I don't want to take any chances. This product fits my Sp 404 mk2, but it is a *close* fit! To make it work, you'll have to collapse the cross bar ALL the way down to get the stand flush to edges of the sampler. If you look closely at the product photo, you'll notice that the taper of the SP-404 comes in a bit, but the whole sampler will be supported by the stand. That caveat being given, this is an excellent stand - it's economical, it's very sturdy, and it's made of quality materials. The grippy feet, grippy sides, and enough elevation at the bottom to plug in your headphone jack and quarter inch inputs make it a much better choice for the SP-404 than a simple laptop stand. ... show more

Extremely low quality product, very cheaply put together. Two days after I received it, the solder broke on the end of the tube where the peg that holds the side plate screws. So now the side panel is loose and the stand will not stay firmly in one piece. Very disappointing.

Item Shape: Flex Tray (13.3") for Large Stand
I was kind of skeptical of this product, because I've purchased multiple similar items in the past from vendors on Etsy, and while they looked cool in photos, in reality they were always a bit flimsy, and cheap feeling, which worried me when you're putting expensive gear on it. However, I had good experience with the company's cases, so I decided to take the risk and purchase this. As soon as it arrived, before I even put anything on it, I could feel the sturdiness and quality that just wasn't there with the 3d printed stuff I bought on Etsy before. I'm not nervous at all to put any piece of gear on it, and it gives me the flexibility to accommodate all sorts of different pieces of gear (pedals, groove boxes, synth modules, etc). I currently use this for an emergency playback unit within our college campus for a permanent venue sound system and another stand for our portable system. This unit works great for holding it in place and grips the top of our console's doghouse so it never slides or moves when pressed/used.
