    • HUGE - words don't do it justice, and BT connection for accurate time-keeping
I'm a teacher, and like most teachers, I have a clock front-and-center in my classroom. The only bad thing is that it's an analog clock, and the vast majority of my students struggle to read the time. This clock is HUGE - it's 16.5 inches wide and at least five inches tall, and the digital readout can be seen from all the way in the back of my lab. It's a very vivid red, so there's no missing it - but I was going for visibility, so that's not a problem for me. I had just a bit of difficulty getting it paired to my phone for the initial setup. The documentation states that once it's paired and the permissions are granted, it will switch to the correct date and time, but the year did not synchronize, nor did the actual time. This is easily changed by pressing the numbers on the back of the clock (and they are not cryptically-labeled - they clearly tell you what setting you are changing, and the documentation that came with the clock is similarly straightforward) OR by using the handy remote -- which is what I did because I had already mounted the thing to the wall! For power, you can use batteries (clock batteries aren't included, but backup batteries are, and so are the two AAA batteries that power the remote), or the included AC adapter. It has a very long cord, a channel to route the cord through so you can hang it flat against a wall, and a compartment that you can even tuck the excess cord into for cable management. It does not include mounting hardware, but a couple of small screws drilled in the location specified in the included mounting guide (gods do I love literal "drill here" instructions - makes it a million times easier than guess and check!) and I was up and running. You can configure an hourly chime (NO - again, teacher; don't need excess distractions), an alarm (again, NO!), or just roll with a display that shows 12/24-hour time (change to your preference), the date (day, month, and year), and the temperature (???) of the area where the clock is. The media could not be loaded. No more excuses from the teenager saying he didn’t hear the alarm on his phone or that his alarm clock fell off the nightstand. This is going to be wonderful to have and glad that it syncs with the time on the phone. It can also be wall mounted or just use the stand if you’d rather not. Includes a remote control as well as a template for wall mounting. Yes, it will want access to lots of things on your phone when you connect via Bluetooth but then so does everything else out there and truthfully, I don’t care – don’t have anything to hide or anything on my phone worth stealing because I don’t store any sensitive items on my phone. The media could not be loaded. This digital close is Bluetooth ready … I connect w/ phone and it had time, date and temperature. It then went to military time and cel… after trial and error … used the remote to change back to regular time and fariheit. It come with a templet to hang. I used it and was able to hang it perfectly. Love it. ... show more
