Description

DDR4 outperforms DDR3 with improved performance and lower power consumption. The operating voltage has decreased from 1.5V to 1.2V, which is a 20% reduction of power, and keeps the system at a low temperature for stable operation. It only requires 1.2V to achieve high clock frequency of 2800MHz for overclockers. Additionally, the SPD (Serial Presence Detect) of XPG Z1 allows direct application without changing settings in the BIOS, facilitating usage and system stability.

  • Clocking Latency is NOT as advertised.
I have a cyberpower PC, and I bought these sticks to upgrade my current ADATA sticks. Having had problems in upgrading RAM before, I learned that the Clocking Latency is critical, or you will get the blue screen of death, reboots, and eventually you'll burn out your systems internal clocking mechanisms. My current white ADATA sticks installed in my system have a latency of 16-18-18, which is what these red sticks advertise as their CL. However, what was sent has a CL of 16-20-20. I returned the incorrect item with a description of exactly why, and they sent me exactly the same wrong sticks with the same latency of 16-20-20. I am now about to return the same product again for the second time. To all of you experiencing glitches after installation, I would strongly recommend you read the little white tag on your RAM sticks and see if the CL is identical to what you already have. A lot of the 5 star reviews here describe EXACTLY the problems that occur when incompatible RAM is installed. The seller may want to take a hard look at how many of these have gone out not as advertised, because they could be inadvertently wrecking PCs. ... show more

  • Great non RGB RAM for the price
Color: Red Size: 2x8GB Style: 2400MHz
I have a CyberPowerPc I bought from here in November, and it came with 16 GB of this 2400 Hz RAM. I bought 2 more modules of the 2x8 to bring it up to 32 GB. Only one snag, stock RAM was in slots 1 and 3, so I put the new ones in slots 2 and 4. PC fired up but kept shutting off and rebooting Thought the new RAM was bad, but I took out the old RAM and put the new ones in slots 1 and 3, and it booted to Windows. Shut it down and put the old RAM into slots 2 and 4, and it booted into Windows. Very curious why the new RAM would not work in slots 2 and 4, but glad I now have 32 FB of RAM. This RAM is a great deal if you can live without the RGB LED lighting which I could, as I have enough RGB already 😎 ... show more

  • It's Samsung die.
Color: Red Size: 2x8GB Style: 4133MHz
For Ryzen owners.. my kit's are Samsung die and while I'm running qty (4) sticks and will never hit close to the advertised speed due to the limitations of the "infinity fabric" and memory control of the ryzen chip... you can run it with very tight timings at slower speeds. You can run it at 14, 16,16, 16 with really tight sub timings at 2933 (for all 4 slots ) If you stick with just 2 slots - you can keep the low timings (or go 14, 14, 14, 14) and bump up the speed significantly. The 4133mhz advertised speed "future proofs" it a bit - if you switch cpu's or ryzen 3000 is better with higher frequency ram etc. I also have corsair c15 ram - (3000 rated) even running at only 2933mhz for the corsair and the adata - the adata performs a solid 10 percent faster - due to the tighter timings. You must set the timings manually - there will be no xmp profile for this speed. It's just quality ram that should work well in most systems (low timings at slower speeds in ryzen - fast speeds at c19 for intel ) Update : I now have a 9900k intel system as well. With the increased voltage this set is successfully running over 4000mhz... at the same 14-16-16 timings of when it was the ryzen setups. (1700 and 2700x) If you loosen the timings to 16-18-18 you can kick it up to around 4400mhz. Amazing ram. I have confirmed that this was not only Samsung die but the desirable b-die as well. If you want to hit those low latencies at high frequencies.. you will have to go above the 1.4 voltage rating (it's not a problem with my motherboard/intel setup) If you stick with 1.4 volts you will have to use xmp for the 4133 rating (latency of 19-19-19). I don't see this kit available anymore - if you can not find it, try the gskill f4 series - ones with xmp's over 4133 + should get similar results. ... show more

  • AWESOME Tech Support and I have always had GREAT success with ADATA Products and support!!! Thank you ADATA
I purchased this memory because I am building an AMD Ryzen System with Integrated Video. Ryzen 3 2200G. I could not get the system to work. Well, I have since found out, There is a HUGE problem. The BIOS of most boards are not up to date and the NEW Ryzen APUs are not working. I returned the memory because I thought it was bad. It now appears this is a BIOS upgrade issue and AMD not posting because the BIOS is not up to date. I have used ADATA products for years. They are a great company. I have always had top rated service from ADATA. I am giving 5 Stars because ADATA worked with me on this issue. I did however ultimately return the memory only later to learn the issue was a BIOS upgrade issue. So, 5 Stars for AWESOME tech support. ... show more

  • Very good value for expanding system that currently has 8GB of AX4U240038G16-BRZ memory installed
Color: Red Size: 2x8GB Style: 2400MHz
Expanded iBuyPower system with H170-PRO Motherboard from 8GB to 24GB. Easy install. System recognized new memory on next boot up. While researching before making my purchase I noticed a lot of questions regarding AX4U240038G16-BRZ vs AX4U240038G16-DRZ. My system had 8GB of AX4U240038G16-BRZ and I added 16GB of AX4U240038G16-DRZ. From looking at the Asus memory compatibility documentation the BRZ is sold as a bundle of 4, while DRZ is sold in a bundle of 2, and the SRZ is sold as a quantity of 1. Just checked and Amazon does have the single DIMM model number of AX4U2400W8G16-SRZ1 for $34.99. By the way, here is a caveat to keep in mind when purchasing additional memory. In case you think faster speed memory is always better, look at the documentation for your motherboard. My documentation has this quote: "** Due to Intel® chipset limitation, DDR4 2133 MHz and higher memory modules on XMP mode will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR4 2133 MHz.". The pricing sweet spot seems to be the 2400MHz memory. So, check your Motherboard doc. ... show more
