The ram was very easy to attach and my computer had no problems detecting it. It has the same speed as the other 2 ram sticks already on my pc, so the speeds and everything matched up perfectly and there was no issues with that. The media could not be loaded. Clean and neat looking rgb ram ,and these are really fast too 2666 mhz out the box just go to xmp and enable, to get that 3200mhz it even allows up to 4000 but unless u need that much power leave it right at 3200 0r 3600 that's the sweet spot .

I got Samsung D-Die. It can be overclocked to 3933MHz at 1.40V. Aida memory testing results are better than other rams. XPG memory is great.

    • Great Ram with a Sleek Look
These sticks of ram are great. My only issue is one of the sticks has an LED that, at least in Asrock Polychrome, is stuck in a pinkish shade with most colors but seems fine in blue. I would drop it a star rating for that but some confused people have given some really bad reviews so I figure this will balance it out. Regarding the reviews about CL16 vs CL18 the reviewers didn't notice the change when they moved from 3200mhz to 3600mhz, FYI 3600mhz at CL18 is going to be better by a small amount. Also, there are some reviewers saying they can't run it at 3600mhz and are frustrated by that. You need to check the specs of your CPU. Many low-middle tier models from a year or so back can't run ram this fast, maybe if you do some overclocking. I have the Ryzen 5 1600AF and it's rated for ram up to 2667mhz so the fact that I can run it with ram at 3200mhz is a blessing. Also, it's possible your motherboard can't handle it, but that is a rare issue... Of course, maybe it's the ram, but that's doubtful. ... show more

When I first installed these, my computer wouldn't POST with both modules installed. I then tried each stick separately. One wouldn't POST at all; the other worked, but only at slower timings. Amazon promptly sent out a replacement set that works just fine. I haven't had a single crash or issue since when running these at the advertised timings. Everything is running fast and smoothly. They currently appear to be manufacturing these with single-rank Micron B-die (past sets, including review copies, shipped with dual-rank Micron E-die). As a result, unless you install two sets of these, you will lose out on some possible performance with the latest Ryzen chips. The lights are bright, but unfortunately don't match up well with other RGB lighting in my case (red is a different hue than other reds, etc). I think the diffuser adds a bit of white to all colors. That's not a huge deal, though. After some tweaking in RGB Fusion, it looks just fine. Overall, I do like this RAM. I hope it holds up in the long run. ... show more
