I have naturally straight hair slightly wavy hair. I have to physically use the crunch method and products in order to achieve a wavy style. I’ve used a lot of products they’ll curl the hair but not as much but and hands down xmondo wave tech foams does the job! When he mentions it will curl straight hair he meant it! One of the best products for my straight hair to make it achieve the a lot more wavy curls than other products. Even my barber stays stunned with the results he even though I permed my hair when he uses his “professional salon” products on my hair it just weights it down and doesnt even curl it. I have fine, 2c/3a hair and live in a humid climate. My hair is either super frizzy, or covered in products and even then I don’t get the definition I want. I’ve tried this on my hair both wet and damp and I LOVE it!! I don’t get the crunchy, greasy curls that I have to scrunch out once dry, and I still have defined waves. I have yet to try it in summer which will be the real test but this product is great! ... show more

I am in love with this product, I bought the wavetech bundle that brings the cream, foam, and next day spray. My hair looks great when I use this product and it smells amazing which I truly love but I have noticed that since I started using this product my hair is falling a lot. I’m used to losing some hair when I wash it but now I’m loosing lumps of hair, I thought there was something wrong with me and I was going to make a Dr’s appointment until I went to buy the shampoo and conditioner and read the reviews and saw that this has happened to someone else; that’s when I decided to write my review. I truly love what the product do to my hair and how it smells but for now, I will leave the shampoo and conditioner in my cart and not use the products for a while to see if they are the cause of my hair loss; I will update this review later. I just washed my hair and you can see in the picture how much hair I lost, last time I washed my hair was 2 nights ago for New Year’s Eve and the amount I lost was double of what’s in the picture. ... show more

This product is amazing. I was already a fan of the regular formula for this wave foam, but my problem with that one was that it didn’t really hold up very well after a day basically. I have A LOT of very thick, long, coarse, wavy hair that’s riddled with grays to boot. It’s prone to frizz and all that really hard to manage stuff. The extra hold formula is giving my hair that little bit of extra staying power that I needed to really let my natural waves stay defined and be all they can be. It also left my hair feeling nice and soft. With my hair type, it’s hard to find the hold I need without gunking up my hair and making it feel gross. This does the job amazingly. I highly recommend getting the hydrating wave cream to use with this. Use the cream first, then use the foam after, then apply a gel of your choosing to finish (HIGHLY recommend Aveda nutriplenish curl gelee) so you can create a cast on your waves/curls, then scrunch away the crunch and your hair will look and feel amazing. I let my hair air dry using these products and a day and a half later, my waves still look amazing. And that’s after I slept on them with my hair totally loose because I wanted to see how well it would hold. I’m very impressed. 10/10 ... show more
