These hearing aids have ample sound volume and the sound produced by human voices is quite good. The fact that the volume is controlled by a dial is a plus in my opinion. Other hearing aids I have purchased require you to tap the device to change the volume. While simple in theory I found that whenever I went to touch my ear the volume setting would increase and in order to get back to your preferred setting you have to tap (up to 4 times) thru a cycle of increasing volumes till you get back to the lowest setting. My only wish is that they were a bit smaller and that they did not use bright blue and red colors for half of the devices. Making the entire device flesh colored would be preferable.     • Good Deal But......
I've been using these amplifiers for about a week and they seem to do what they claim. I do wish that the USB cable was a bit longer with that's easily fixed by buying a longer one. The volume control works well enough and I haven't had any feedback issues. Charging is about as easy as it gets and the digital readout lets me know when the case needs to be charged. It only remains to be seen how long they last so I'll be back with another review in due course. Edited 2-10-24..It been almost a month since purchasing these amplifiers and, as mentioned, I'm back to do an updated review. These continue to impress. Dollar for dollar, they are on par with a $6k plus set of hearing aids that ended up in the garbage. Those things ate batteries and started to fall apart. I won't mention the name of the manufacturer, but it starts with a "S" and is purported to be some of the best on the market. I'd recommend these inexpensive amplifiers over those overpriced pieces of junk without a second thought.     • Fantastic Hearing Aids for a VERY Reasonable Price
My Dad has a severe hearing deficit in both ears. He purchased the expensive hearing aids from a well-known firm for over $6k. These hearing aids worked well, but he was constantly removing because of an itch behind his ear. We were very nervous that he may lose one because of him placing the hearing aids in his pocket. I went to AMZN and found these hearing aids that you place directly in his ears, and thought why not give a try. The hearing aids worked even better than the costly hearing aid product, you don't have to worry which hearing aid goes in the R ear or the L ear, AND my Dad had zero "itch." He has been wearing a little less than a month and keeps them in at least 8 hours per day. We are looking to send back the costly hearing aids because of the success of these Direct To Consumer Hearing Aids - Highly Recommend ... show more

I was not able to hear some low noises. So, I tried and stopped by Costco and checked it for free. Then they gave an option of buying the hearing aids which costed more than $600. I let it go. One fine day I was browsing for hearing aids because I needed to have good hearing of the gas leaks in my job. I stumbled upon a lot, but this was the one which was outstanding.
