These are the most amazing hearing aids! I have had a couple others, and they did not work near are wonderful as these! These have 4 levels and each level has 5 volume levels which are easy to adjust right in your ear! They are small, in the ear design which makes them easy to put in and also be hidden from sight! Most important to me is that I can hear when speaking on the phone, as compared to the ones that have speakers behind the ear! If you struggle with hearing conversations, you must try these Pro 2 by Audien. So comfortable, you will forget you are wearing them! Great charging case which lasted a week!     • Overall great product!!
I really liked these Audien hearing aids because they were affordable and well-made. They were small and easy to carry around. One thing I didn't like was that you had to adjust each hearing aid separately when changing the volume or mode. I realized that some people have different levels of hearing in each ear, so it makes sense that they aren't synced. It was easy to figure out how to change the volume and modes after a few tries. There are 5 volume levels. I mainly kept it at level 3 which was plenty of amplification for me. Changing the modes was a bit trickier because you have to hold the button down for a few seconds, but I got the hang of it. There are 4 modes, and I mostly used mode 1. I only wore the hearing aids for a few hours each day, and the battery life was never a problem. My only complaint would be the sound quality. To me, they sound a little hollow. Please keep in mind this was my first set of hearing aids, so I am not sure if this would be a similar sound with other competitors. ... show more

    • Great value for a low-cost hearing aid option!
I think these hearing aids are a great option if you have mild or maybe moderate hearing loss. They are small, inconspicuous, and do amplify normal sounds enough to make conversations and TV viewing more pleasant. Really like the charging case, which makes the hearing aids easy to use. They recharge quickly, the magnetic feature of holding the batteries in, and the UV cleaning function make using these hearing aids very convenient. I found the hearing aids to last a good couple of weeks on a full charge, less if using them a lot. Adjusting the volume and program is easy just by tapping a small button, and the included supplies are great for when the filters get gunked up and need to be replaced. Did not need a lot of tech support because usage was fairly straightforward, but the rep I did talk with on the phone was friendly, helpful, and pleasant to talk to. So I would say for mild to moderate hearing loss, the comfort, sound quality and ease of use of the Atom Pro 2 have significantly improved my overall quality of life. Especially given the low sub-$300 price. If you have special needs for severe hearing loss, or want each earpiece set to different levels, or want a phone app to change settings, you'll need to spend more and get more advanced hearing aids. But for me, these do the trick right now without having to spend a lot of money on features I probably don't need. Highly recommend giving these a try for mild to medium hearing loss, and where hearing in one ear is not signficantly different from the other. ... show more

    • Great value for the price
I'm used to BTE hearing aids so this requires a learning curve. It functions well, as advertised; good sound quality, noise cancellation works well enough, the different modes really are different (unlike some cheap aids I've used!), and it's comfortable to wear. After a week I only have minor quibbles; the start sound level is 3 of 5 and I would much prefer it start at 1 of 5 because that's my preference, and each startup I have to go thru the louder levels to get it back to 1 which may trigger some squealing. Also it's very sensitive to touch so it's easy to change the setting when I'm trying to find the sweet spot in my ear, or change modes. Oh, and it doesn't turn off, and I wish it did for loud chores like vacuuming or mowing. All in all I think it's a great value for the price, I'm pleased with the quality, and I would recommend it. This review is my opinion based on owning and using the Atom Pro2 hearing aid, and reflects the same "review" I posted to Audien. ... show more

    • Best Hearing Aid for the money
I have tried various hearing aids before. I suffer from Tinutus, and my doctor asked me to try some expensive hearing aids (probably 6 times more than these Audien ones). I tested the expensive ones for a week and returned them. The Audien Atom Pro 2s were easy to set up, and the sound coming from them was very clear. They have 5 volume levels and also different modes (similar to equalize settings) for the different types of situations you are in. Also, they fit perfectly in my ear and did not fall out. In addition, the battery life was super. I started wearing them for only 2 hours, but I am not wearing them for most of the day in a lot of comfort. I would buy these again in an instant but I am hoping that they come up with another pair that has Bluetooth technology. I will be the first in line to buy them. ... show more
