I've had the opportunity to order and test multiple hearing assist devices over the past year - probably 7 or 8 different devices from different manufacturers. My favorite to date is a set of JIUYEE "AIR C2" hearing aids with bluetooth, which can be used as a hearing assist device, but switches to a Bluetooth earbud when you connect it to your smartphone or tablet and play music or make phone calls. That set works perfectly, but is for mild to moderate hearing assist. This JIUYEE model "RIC REAL P3" is made for more severe hearing loss, and is well worth the premium value. Just like my other JIUYEE model, the packaging is very high quality. The parts and accessories are extremely well made. And the setup and operation is flawless. This model reduces squealing noise by having the microphones in back of the ear, with the speaker attached by wire to inside the ear. Because of this, there is almost no squeal when inserting the units, and once you have a snug fit, no squeal at all. The app installation is simple and quick, and gives you fine-tuning control over many of the functions. There are settings for different environments, volume settings, and several other controls that let you limit how much of your own voice you hear, as well as other adjustments. Just like my other JIUYEE hearing device, the Bluetooth operation is flawless. Pairing the device to your phone is simple, and once you've done so you can use the hearing aids normally, but as soon as you turn on a source from your phone, they seamlessly connect and give you high quality sound that's just as good as a good quality earbud. Another added benefit is the ability to perform a hearing test right from the app. This is a great option to let you get a baseline of your hearing. I'm so impressed with this product, as well as with other JIUYEE products. I keep a set of them with me at all times for my moderate hearing assist needs, but this set will be for my father, who has much more severe hearing loss. I have mild hearing problems so I figured why not give this a try and it did not disappoint. The air was clear and I could hear my loved one call me from the other room and even heard the knock on the door. This Bluetooth hearing aids can be used as Bluetooth headphones as well as hearing aids. Very stylish so one won’t even have an idea these are indeed hearing adds. The sleek look and comfort of wearing is awesome. No extra noise when wearing. Easy to charge up and wear right after. No more embarrassing moments because you honestly can’t hear like most people. They all come packaged very nicely and come with little pods to recharge them. This one has a hearing test in the app. These have hearing aids and noise canceling plus one can listen to anything out of the phone such as music. The app has the same functionality as the buttons on the units themselves. The noise canceling feature is like that on regular Bluetooth headsets. They will play music, talk on the phone, play videos, etc. Mic is built into the larger portion behind the ear. Said to provide 192 hours of operation on a single charge (says battery replacement but they mean to need recharging). It comes with a carry bag to protect the charging pod and the wire fits in it. I don't really have any prior experience with hearing aids so I can't compare these to anything else. All I can say is that they work very well so far. These come very professionally packaged with a nice storage box and good instructions. When you get these and download the app, it will guide you thru a hearing test so you can calibrate each ear piece to meet your hearing needs. It seems to be pretty thorough with testing the different ranges and frequencies. The storage container for the ear buds will recharge them, and then you can plug in the storage container to make sure its charged up. I do get an occasional beep in my ear for no reason, like some kind of interference but its not a problem for me personally. I do like how I can connect this to my phone and hear the conversation thru my hearing aids. I have only had these for a week, so I will update my review after I have had them for a month or so. ... show more

    • Very impressed and would buy again
This is a great alternative to the several thousand dollar version from the ear doctor. They work very well in amplifying sounds, drowning out background noises, and overall making for a much happier life. They are easy to use, easy to wear and easy to charge. I got them for my mom who has been so pleased with them. She isn’t tech savvy so she doesn’t use the Bluetooth function but I used it before leaving them with her and it’s a really neat feature but not required. Very durable, holds a charge all day with no issues , maybe longer but she charges them every night and they never lost battery before she put them back to charge. I would recommend them for anyone with moderate to just less than severe hearing loss. They are a great value for the price because of the peace of mind that they give my mother and the embarrassment that she no longer has to endure by having to ask folks to repeat themselves multiple times. ... show more

I really like the fact that there is a hearing "test" in the app that helps you customize this hearing aid for your specific situation. I also really like that you can set the controls using the app rather than fumbling with tiny buttons and switches that are located on the hearing aid itself. The product comes nicely packaged with everything you need to use them immediately. A little more expensive than some lower priced units, but I found this to be a superior product. ... show more
