  • 5.0 out of 5 stars How could you not get this?
Size: 5600 XT Style: Thicc II Pro Pattern: Graphics Card
Very good graphics card, this has been with me for years and I shall pass it down from generation to generation. This card has been through good times and bad times and has stuck with me for the longest time until recently. With new games coming out and their memory size is getting bigger and bigger this card can no longer handle it. So I shall give it to my brothers who play nothing but roblox and minecraft and let the card live a fruitful life. 10/10 would but for beginners but if you want to play newer games I recommend you upgrade. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars 1050ti to XFX RX 5500 XT and was giddy.
Size: 5500 XT Style: Thicc II Pro Pattern: Graphics Card
Going from a 1050ti to the RX5500XT was an amazing leap in ability for my system. Very Happy. I'm slow to upgrade so this may not be a earth shattering thing. I love it.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars great budget GPU
Size: 5500 XT Style: Thicc II Pro Pattern: Graphics Card
I got this XFX RX 5500 XT 8gb back in 2020 for my very first PC build. Was little skeptical about XFX just because I've always heard from the big brands like Asus or MSI. I decided to go for this brand just because of the price and my budget at the time. I've play all of my games with no issue so far on 1080p between 100-170 fps and recently on 1440p running about 70 fps on Warzone and 40 on Horizon Zero dawn at high settings both games. Even though it sounds like a low number at 40 fps Horizon runs very smooth. This GPU can be a little loud at times but nothing to crazy, Ive never tried to OC this graphics card and I don't think you have much room to do that with this card but overall nothing to regret about getting this item ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Underrated, Worth every penny, Old reliable.
Size: 5700 XT Style: Thicc III Pattern: Graphics Card
Got this card just a few months before Covid had the GPU market going bonkers, it has served me well ever since. AMD drivers have been a rollercoaster throughout but as you browse forums/use more recent patches, the card is more stable than ever. Used to be a nightmare getting random black screens or whole system restarts. For the original MSRP, this card still holds its ground well with the current generation of cards at a similar or even higher price point. Can't recommend it enough. Additional notes, I've had it overclocked & undervolted since the first day, playing intensive games like Escape From Tarkov on intensive settings and besides getting the fans roaring, the card still runs without a hiccup. Definitely one of my best tech purchases. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Decent Card.. Underrated.
Size: 5500 XT Style: Thicc II Pro Pattern: Graphics Card
I got the 5500xt 8GB model. I’ll start by saying that I originally bought this just as a “cheap” place holder for my new build until Big Navi was released. The reviews on it aren’t great but most of them just complain that the price is too high. I can kind of agree with this because the next step up is the 5600XT at $100 or less extra and the performance from the 5500 to the 5600 is night and day. But that’s not to say the 5500xt isn’t a good GPU. It got my 1080p gaming done at over 60FPS in most titles on max or near max settings. This is definitely a 1080p card. But it can perform somewhat at 1440p if you’re willing to tinker with some settings. Over all I think this is a decent buy for anyone looking for a very good and cheap 1080p experience. Anything above 1080p and you’ll want to move up to the 5600xt or 2060 depending on if you’re an AMD or Nvidia person respectively. I got this card for $200 new and that’s probably the max I would spend on a 5500xt 8GB. Anything higher and you may as well move up to the 5600xt. Also, I’ve had two AMD cards since August (5500xt and 5600xt) and I’ve never had any driver issues at all. So either I got lucky or AMD got their driver problems resolved. I’ll stick with AMD over Nvidia as long as AMD makes cards that give me the level of performance I’m looking for. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Good performance, great value, VERY QUIET!!
Size: 5500 XT Style: Thicc II Pro Pattern: Graphics Card
Bought this card to replace a second hand GTX 760 that finally gave up the ghost and completely failed after 7 years. This card met and exceeded my expectations in every category. The performance is great for a $200 card, it has been able to handle every game I’ve thrown at it on 1080p with a mixture of high and ultra settings no problem. The biggest surprise for me though was just how quiet this card is! Even under 100% load the fan is so quiet that I can’t even hear it. Overall an excellent budget card for 1080p and multiple monitors that I would recommend to anyone. I know that some people (and myself temporarily) were put off of this card after looking at the benchmarks, where it only fared marginally better than the 580/590, but when it comes down to it the lower power consumption is 110% worth it. These cards can also overclock very hard (think 2.1 Ghz) if you’re so inclined. If you have been unable to find a 1660s any where for a reasonable price you can safely purchase this card in a heartbeat, and not be disappointed. I am actually glad that I wasn’t able to find one, and got this 5500xt instead. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad Graphics card, when it sold for less than $250
Size: 5500 XT Style: Thicc II Pro Pattern: Graphics Card
I would've given this a 5 star review because for less than 210USD which was the cost when I purchased it and it's capabilities it was worth it to me, however even after updating drivers and what all was available online for this card, the graphics card still displays a blank screen from time to time, or it turns my screen all 1 color and the only thing that displays is the windows icon and tabs at the bottom, this usually only happens at start up, How I fix the issue is I go into display config and switch resolution back and forth a few times then my screen pic goes back to normal... Outside of this persistent issue I haven't had any real issues with this card, I've owned it now for about 5 months and it still works really well with the exception of whats described above, it's still a decent card in my opinion. As for the asking price increase, theres no way I'd give nearly 600USD for this card, thats my opinion of course. ... show more
