I like to use rechargeable batteries in my Xbox controllers, so this is perfect for my 2 controller setup. I really like the overall design of this particular charging kit because it takes into consideration the type of care that modern gamers put into their set up. I’m specifically referring to the green lights that shine underneath the charging kit while it’s powered on. If you’re paying attention to modern gaming setups, you know that people love to get the accent lights going and this product fits in perfectly with that kind of situation. The USB-C connection means that you can use the cord that comes with a kit or reuse something that’s a little longer that will place this in the right spot. Batteries charge quickly and from what I can tell they do a good job of holding their charge. Another nice touch is that the bottom side of the charging kit has rubber feet so it’s not gonna slide around on your desktop or media center. I’ve used disposable AA batteries before and that started getting expensive. Then I found this set of four rechargeable batteries (1500mAh) and immediately ordered it. Charging these is easy, just leave all four batteries in the included charger and connect the USB-C/USB-A cable to a USB-A/AC adapter - which unfortunately is not included. I have a spare adapter at home and was able to use it. The light indicator comes up red when the batteries are charging and green when it’s full. The lighting at the bottom of the station is just for display, it does not indicate the battery charging status. I do not have any preference about it, but if I need to turn it off, I can just press the touch button control at the front. These batteries should now let me enjoy playing games for longer gaming sessions. ... show more

These are great. They work extremely well. They hold a very good charge and last a long time. The only issue I have is they can be tough to insert into the controller, but that does not take away from the quality of the product. The charger charges the batteries pretty quickly as well. The lights on it are bright though so definitely keep it somewhere that you dont mind some light. ... show more

This 4 battery charger is nice and compact. The lights for charge indication can be turned off with a touch of the side of the base, very nice for when you don’t want extra light distracting your field of vision. The battery life is very long. I haven’t had them long enough to say how long they will last, but there are 4 of them, so you should get quite a bit of gaming out them whatever the case. ... show more

I just bought my first ever Xbox (I'm a PlayStation and Nintendo girl THROUGH AND THROUGH, but damn Microsoft for buying out Bethesda and having some Xbox exclusive titles that I actually really want to play.) Anyway, I got the Series X, and one of the reason why I'm not a fan of Xbox controllers is because they run on batteries. (You'd think they'd make their controllers battery free like literally every other gaming system since ever!) Thankfully, I found these and they work perfectly. (I struggled to get the rechargeable battery pack in a bit, but I stopped and actually read the instructions and was able to put them in with no problem.) This is a great value over buying disposable batteries. The charging base has a very small footprint compared to similar products I own, which is nice when space is a premium. I’m the sole gamer in my household so four batteries is a bit overkill given no one’s gaming session will last long enough to exhaust even one battery.
