These 6 Pack Paint by Numbers for Adults are going to be a delight to paint. The first two sets I opened contain 24 colors each, so I assume all of them contain around 24 colors. The canvas is nice and big, at *almost* 12 x 16, and as the photos show if you enlarge them, the drawings are quite detailed. I opened the darkest of the designs (the photo with the red background) and one of the brightest, to see the paint selections. As the photos show, even the darkest photo has a good selection of colors. And the brighter design contains pinks, blues, greens, several yellows, and a salmon. Each set contains three inexpensive acrylic brushes, two small rounds and a flat. I've used these brushes before with other sets, and they don't paint badly. They aren't sable, but then I'm not sure I want my nice brushes involved with these acrylic paints. The plastic paint brushes in the set work well enough. The designs are going to measure a little less than 12 x 16, so you will either have to frame this yourself or hang it without a frame after backing it with something hard once it's finished. A purchased premade frame may or may not work with these kits. I'm very happy with this set and consider it a good value, with the size of the canvas and the number of paints included. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to conform more closely to US framing sizes. Recommended. ... show more

I was imagining that the set would be hard canvas, but I was wrong. The canvas is nice, feels thick, but it came rolled up around the paints for the print. Because of the way it was rolled, there are some creases that I need to work out of it. But the prints are great, the pictures are well defined, and it should be a lot of fun. ... show more

Just remember to allow your paints to dry before you paint a new color next to one still with fresh paint. It comes with colors and instructions of everything that you need. Most importantly, the canvas is nice quality! I've about half-way completed it, and I can tell that the finished painting will be very nice, and fun to hang up in my house! I'm an astronomy enthusiast, and I love this kind of fun project, both for an entertaining way to pass the time, and to have a final result that I can hang on my walls, and look at with satisfaction every day! This paint kit is really nice. It includes everything you need to paint all six designs. The materials appear to made of good quality. It would have been nice if it came with an easel or something to paint against, but overall, really impressed with the contents and thought it well worth the price.

One of the six canvases is defective. The other five have a nice smooth finish and the one in question is heavily textured like it is covered in that spray on texture that covers walls. It's going to make the painting really difficult. For this reason, I don't recommend this company until they fix their quality control. ... show more
