I divided this into 3 and 1 the 3 I placed my hats, gloves and shirts I like that is open and I can reach and select exactly what I am looking for. It pared down space in the small area which I have for hanging my slacks and 2 dresses. The one I stored books which I can reach from a self in the closet. I am very pleased with my organizer. I had my shoes in two of the canvas style hanging basket type things and one broke due to the weight. The other will probaly do so soon so I bought this to start with a replacement. It's awesome and holds lots of shoes, especially my heavy Dansko ones. It hangs in my closet and is easy to use and operate. It was easy to put together thought a tad awkward doing it.
