I ordered this because we have a slope in our backyard. Every now and then my dogs are too excited to listen to their “come” command and I’ve had to trek up the slope to get them. This isn’t ok because they aren’t listening and I have a bad knee and I can’t keep chasing them around. I needed some remote help but I didn’t want to shock my dogs. I took off the shock tabs and I have yet to use the shock function, the tone and vibration are plenty to affect my dogs. I hope I never need to use the shock functions but if they get really cray there is that option. The fact I could take off those tabs and use it as a vibration collar was a big thing, my dogs can wear these collars for days with no irritation. The remote is very easy to use. The instructions are good and in English not Chinese. I didn’t even have to pair the two collars, black is channel 1, green is channel two. Super easy and simple if you have two dogs. I would recommend this product 100%. I was nervous about buying this but I am very happy with the results. ... show more

Edited to add: the collar was full of water. It may be waterproof, but it’s definitely not for a water loving lab. I have two one year old Labrador retrievers & these collars have worked so well with them. I’ve only had to use the alarm & vibration setting so far. (Tried to use the shock, but it didn’t bother them.) Even with just the alarm the dogs come right back to me. The collars fit nicely & the battery stays charged for a long time. I take my dogs to the river and allow them to swim & burn off some energy. Today one collar stopped working completely while we were at the river. I’m hoping that the battery had just died & not the actual collar. I have them charging & am hoping that it comes back on. I will still give this product 5 stars just because they’re great collars & they’re inexpensive. ... show more

So far since opening the product I am impressed. The quality of the collars and remote have met expectations, they were charged fully coming out of the box, and were easy to adjust to the animals. I always check the level of sound, vibrate and shock before putting them on the dogs, and they were appropriate to the level on the remote; and felt would be a great training tool. Testing the tone, dogs were quick to respond to the loud sound and haven’t had to escalate to vibrate or shock. Will update as necessary ... show more

WARNING ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ FIRST: If you have never used an Electronic Shock Collar, please read instructions well! Honestly, if it is your first time, please go to Petco or someone familiar with these collars to show you how to properly use them. Make sure the actual collars are turned off and the remote is in the locked position. Fit the collars around your dog’s neck. Make sure you fit it as manual says. Confused? There are plenty YouTube videos on how to use these properly. I have a 4 year old German Shepard and a 2 year old silver lab. My Shepard is a dainty athlete… sprints the yard constantly. She weighs 55-60lbs. My lab is a powerhouse 98lbs. His neck is thick. He’s just a tank. I have NEVER used the shock feature on the collar. I made it a big deal that they have a cool collar and every morning they come to me to put on their ESC. Day usually goes by and I take it off in the evening. I use the “tone” button 99% of the time (on level 2-4). When I press the tone button they know to leave it. A couple of times I’ve pressed the vibration button (on level 1 with GSD & level 2 with lab). For example I planted new fruit trees and I knew they would be extra curious. Tried the tone button the first couple times they checked it out, but it wasn’t enough… they tried to dig them up. Since I was making a demanding statement to “stay away”, I pushed the vibration button. * I DID NOT SHOCK **. After they got vibrated they took off running away from the trees and have not touched them since. I’m just giving you MY experience with ESC collars. I don’t aim to hurt my dogs… because you CAN seriously injure your dog when shocking (please read about this). This collar is used to help train your dog safely. If you’re not going to be consistent, don’t use this form of training. Once again, I HAVE NEVER SHOCKED MY DOGS! Actually, believe it or not, all I have to do is put the remote in my hand & they are aware of what it is. Your fur babies trust you so much…true story, my dogs don’t even have to have their collars on to follow instructions. If I have the remote in my hand, they think their collars are on. Our dogs are smart! Give them the chance to get praise! Unless a serious situation arises where your dog or someone is in danger, please don’t shock! It could stimulate emotions and reactions you don’t want. I rate these a 5/5 for performance, durability, range, vibration & all perks ... show more

Great e-collar, a lot of customization so you can really fine tune it for the dog specifically...I have 2 dogs that listen well but they have terrible impulse control, and I want to be able to give them the freedom they love but this helps stop them from chasing wildlife, they are learning really well. I've brought my dogs to the beach, lake, river, and mountains. These have GREAT range, great battery (I've had them almost a whole month and have only charged them once), and obviously if they can survive sand and saltwater and STILL work perfectly then they can handle anything. I highly recommend these, half the price of some of the really expensive single e-collars but I can't really imagine anything better. (The controller has also gotten wet which it's not supposed to but it still works lol) Also love how they have different types of beeps, so my dogs have individual beeps for their recall. ... show more
