Description

The toughest ultralight survival tent you’ll find anywhere – guaranteed. Designed for hikers and outdoor adventurers, the DDITW PRO Ultralight Survival Tent provides year-round protection for 2 adults from harsh weather in any season. Other emergency shelters are made flimsy and cheap for one time use. We’ve tested and designed every detail with the highest quality materials available. Our HeatFlex mylar is stronger and more flexible than ordinary mylar to withstand harsh weather conditions and rocky terrain. With 425-lb strength paracord, reinforced tape seams, and a nylon storage sack, this tent is reusable and built to last. To Use: Simply run the paracord through the tent and tie the ends to a tree or bush. Anchor the corners down with rocks or gear, and climb inside. [Tip: If you can’t find anything to tie the rope to, the 80 sq ft of mylar makes a great emergency sleeping bag]. NASA-designed mylar reflects up to 90% heat to help conserve body heat in cold weather. [Tip: In hot conditions, turn the tent inside out to aim the silver side OUT to reflect heat away]. It is also waterproof and light reflective for countless survival uses year-round. For emergency use only. Does not replace your camping tent. Warning: Mylar is not fireproof. Keep away from heat and flames. Warning: Adult supervision is required due to strangulation and suffocation hazards. HeatFlex and Don’t Die In The Woods are trademarks of 50/50 Goods.

  • Great Tent for Backpacking
Color: Orange
Takes very little room in backpack and it is extremely durable. Offers an impressive living space despite its small size.

  • Last ditch, but useful
Color: Army Green
It’s very roughly seven foot six inches long and four foot nine inches wide when laid flat. So rate it for two medium-thin adults who are extremely close. An emergency snuggle tunnel. It’s very thin and delicate (hence the light weight), so be gentle and I’d suggest putting the whole thing in a gallon bag. Once it’s unfolded, it won’t want to be as compact as it was before, so the cardboard tube and drawstring bag that it arrived in might as well be kindling and foraging containers. Useful kit if used correctly. ... show more

  • Perfect emergency tent
Color: Woodland Camo
I got this to put in my hiking bag in case we get stranded or stuck while hiking and need an overnight shelter. It is small, and easily portable. The mylar material of the tent is lightweight but feels durable, so I feel confident it could shelter us appropriately in an emergency situation as long as it's not hurricane conditions or something. Very happy with my purchase! ... show more

  • Expensive but high quality Bug Out Bag or Emergency Kit item.
Color: Woodland Camo
I own a DDitW emergency sleeping bag that is part of my daily hiking gear. So when I saw this on a Lightning Deal, I picked it up, and am happy I did. Hopefully like my bag I’ll never have to use it. The material seems sturdier than a normal emergency blanket, paracord is included, and it comes in a nice case. Only weighs a few ounces. Sure, it’s nothing but a tube of Mylar, but it’ll do the trick if called on. It’s not a tent, but heck, many through hikers sleep under a tarp, so it’ll provide reasonable protection from the elements if set up properly. Durability will of course be an issue if used often, but I hope to never use it. Overall a good buy and worth a few bucks more than generics. ... show more
