I’m no backpacker or survivalist, but if you like going out On long hikes in the wilderness like me, then you owe it to yourself to bring one of these. Haven’t used this specific one before, but I used one like it that a rescuer gave me, and I realized how much something like this could save my life if I was stuck out overnight in the cold. Plus, it’s cheap so I gave some extras to my family, and it weighs so little you’ll hardly notice it in your pack. Not only can it keep you from freezing to death or catching a cold or hypothermia. Quality little gear blankets they are light weight and more of a single use item because your never going to get it folded again but in a shtf situation they work I've had to use them a few times in below freezing temps and it was a life saver litterly
