Worth the money. I bought this kit and another kit that was about 1/2 the price of the EVERLIT IFAK to compare the two. The other kit was junk. The EVERLIT IFAK was delivered exactly as described. As a retired USMC vet with 4 combat tours, this kit is similar to the IFAKs we used to carry down range. Quality case, quality components, all the immediate TCCC essentials you would need in a kit. This is a great and affordable kit for what you get. It is the most complete IFAK kit I have seen. Of course I added items to it. I added a few more antibiotic bandages, sting/bite wipes, 1, 6" Israeli bandage (it comes with a 4 inch), 2 Rhino Compression Z-fold Gauze bandages, 1 2x2 and 1 4x4 quick clot wound dressings, 2 eye pads, 1 tube of antibiotic ointment, 1 tube of cortisone ointment and some quick clot powder. I'll buy a couple of smaller bags to attach to the molle for rolled gauze, more tape, more burn gel for larger burns, and a few more items like tweezers, suture bandages, a pain, allergy, upset stomach pill kit, choking pump and maybe some others. But this kit is a huge start on what you need. I wish it was a little bit bigger to add more items inside, but the molle straps will allow me to add a couple more smaller bags to hold those items I want to add. I really have no complaints. These are great to keep in cars, bug out bags, etc. If you can afford it, keep these kits with you wherever you go and then keep a larger kit at home or in a camper that has thermometer, blood pressure cups, stethoscope, suture tools, etc. First aid and OTC meds add up quick and are expensive, so buy a little here and there to build your kits up. ... show more

Ok so I don't do too many reviews, but this I had to comment on. I am a former Boy Scout and EMT. I worked in the Emergency Room for 6 years. Only mention that to assure you I take first-aid somewhat seriously. So much so in-fact, that I find myself needing to build my own FAK's. Not a huge deal, but it's a lot of buying individual things, getting the quantity right, then finding a suitable container to put it all in that will withstand years in a daily driving vehicle. I have searched on here before, for ready-made kits, just to reduce the amount of manual steps I have to take. Sadly, all the kits I find are either A) grossly overpriced for the contents, or B) sadly lacking things I would like, or C) both. This kit surprisingly checked ALL the boxes. -Well priced, -Complete trauma kit, -packaged securely - excellent container (pliable, heavy duty, easy to operate), -no abundance of useless/poor quality stuff I would throw away anyway (I did not throw a single item out of this kit), -a small amount of room for add-ons. If I would change anything about this kit, it would be the size of the container. It would be great to have just a LITTLE bit more extra room for add additional stuff (minor wound care, some odds and ends). But not enough it changes my 5-star review. This kit comes with just about everything you could ask for in a trauma situation, based on my research and limited experience. Pretty much everything is from reputable brands with years of experience. Extra loop fabric sewn up top makes it easy to add additional patches if desired. In my case, I added a blood type and allergies patch. I appreciate the extra molle webbing on front as well, which could prove useful for hooking a small carabineer with a medicine bottle or something else of minimal weight. However, even after taking the time to arrange the kit, there's just too many steps to get it open. Two zippers must be lowered independently, and a large buckle over the front that seems to serve no purpose but is too long to leave undone. The inside also unfolds into 3 parts, nice to see but also making it a tight fit unless you remove one of the bulkier items. I opted to take out the splint as I should always have access to a hospital within a day from anywhere I'll need it. And I'll likely just cut off the excess strap. ... show more

It looks good. It's small and portable. I probably don't know how to use half of the stuff in it, but at least I have it in case of an emergency. I keep it in the back of my truck in case any injuries exceed what my basic first aid kit has to offer. For the money, it's worth having around and hopefully won't have to use it ... show more

This is by far the best trauma kit on Amazon right now. It’s very complete (the only thing I needed to add to it were decompression needles and quickclot, both understandably not included), and the contents seem are well made. It’s quite large, but still relatively easy to stick in a backpack or car glove box. Be aware though: It is not a first aid kit. This kit is designed to stabilize someone with a severe wound long enough to get them to a hospital. If you’re looking for bandages and other basic first aid, this is not the kit for you. If you don’t have some first aid training (eg. how to treat a sucking chest wound or insert an NPA), this is probably also not the kit for you yet. This kit can save lives, but you need to know how to use it in advance. It does not treat wounds that give you time to read instructions or look up a tutorial on Youtube. ... show more
