Description

How to use? 1. Turn the switch on when you use it. Turn it off when not in use. 2.     • I use two wood burners and I like this one a little better.
I use two wood burners when I'm working. The first one I bought was a Tekchic 60w. It's a fine product and I have no real complaint about it. I've have found I don't like to stop and change nibs so I have two burners set up. This allows me to have 4 different nibs available without changing one out. Like I said, the Tekchic is a good wood burner but, I like this one better for the following reasons: The electric cords connecting the pens to the control box are a lot more flexible and this makes the pens lighter and easier to use. The control box is smaller and heavier than the Tekchic. It's weight and better feet mean it stays in put. The Tekchic is lighter and really doesn't have feet. It can slide around on your wood bench easier. The Tekchic has its on/off switch on the side of the box. Once you turn the unit on one of the pens will start to heat up because the sector switch has no neutral position. The Greenleaf has all its controls on the front face of the unit. The voltage knob turns on the unit but if the selector switch is off, (in its neutral middle position), neither pen heats up. So, the unit can stay on and both pens remain cool. The pen holders of the greenleaf are much better designed and easier to use. You can look at the pictures of the two products and see that's apparent without using it. ... show more

I just got the WooEver wood burning kit this week and have only played around with it a bit, but I'm impressed. It heats up quickly has temperature controls that respond quickly and allows for lots of control. You have to be learn to find the appropriate setting since this isn't a toy, but seems relatively easy to get what will work at what temp (just don't work with paper around). The only other wood burner I have had is a $14 Walnut Creek [<think that's the brand name] unit someone gave me as a gift. Compared to that, this is a whole other league and will save lots of time, making the extra cost well worth it. ... show more

    • Handles get hot
This is very easy to use and does good work. The burners heat up very quickly and cool down quickly which surprised me. The only bad thing is that if I'm using for more that a few minutes the handles get really hot and I have to turn it off and give it a break.

This is a really nice little wood burning kit. I’m having so much fun with it! This is by far the best one I have ever owned, good constant heat on both burners. You can easily switch back and forth between tips instead of waiting for everything to cool down and go through the proses of changing a tip each time. My order arrived sooner than expected as well. Not sure about long term usage yet but it seems like it will hold up, doesn’t feel cheaply made like other ones I have used. I will update my review if anything goes wrong in the future but so far so good and well worth the money. Update: 10/23/23 This little wood burning kit is amazing! The best on Amazon! This wood burning tool is hands down the best, highest voltage at 110 volt, two pens, temp control, and lots of tips. Wood burning is a slow process as is, this makes it a lot easier and more efficient. The others on Amazon in comparison to this one is like comparing a flip phone to a smart phone. Trust me. This is my third one trust and this is the best. If you want the best in technology buy this one. Now for the negative.... The stands that come with are too light so they fall over. Easy fix. The power supply cord is not fixed to it so it could come unplugged, But it is snug just not a fan of detachable cords. This product is great! I’ve been doing wood burning for a good while, but using cheaper, soldering iron type burners, and to be honest, none of them come even close to the performance and versatility of this product. This burner stays hot, so I don’t have to take a break every 30 seconds, but hardly any heat is felt on the hands. Oh and the “pen style” is so much easier to work with, just like using a normal pen almost. I’m very happy with this product so far. Seems to be built pretty well.     • Incredible!!! Fast and accurate
This thing is great! the tips get glowing red in about 7 seconds. I don't have an artistic bone in my body but I have a ton of fun writing Bible verses or poems on wood. I've used it for plastic welding small stuff around the house. Haven't used it for soldering yet but I know it'll work really well for that. Yesterday it fell off the windowsill and hit the floor and bent the heat dial and both the plug ins for the tip holders but it still works great. ... show more

At first depends seem to work really well but then the handles started getting SUPER HOT! I had to tape them up to be able to hold them. One is getting really burnt looking and idk why. I’m not overheating it or leaving it on. In fact, I switch them regularly because of the heat. They write smoothly but I think I may have wasted my money because they seem like they’re just going to die one of these days and I’ve only had them for a couple weeks.
