  • No Mounting bolts supplied.
As others have stated, there are no mounting bolts included with this item. I've seen in earlier reviews that they are M6 X 1.00, this was not the case for mine. Mine required 1/4x20. I had some in my shop, but overall not a bid deal. It will not mount on my round drill press table using the supplied holes or at least not using all 4 mounting holes. Seems well made. I may revisit this review once I get it mounted on my drill press. ... show more

  • Very disappointing.
As I Removed it from the box this seemed like a very nice table. But it went downhill from there. 1. The instructions are pretty poor (they don’t even bother to tell you what kind of bolt you need to buy to fit into the threaded inserts… thanks to another reviewer who confirms you need metric size M6-1.00 bolts). 2. Again, Bolts for attaching to your press are NOT included. That’s because of the aforementioned threaded inserts: this attachment method requires you to choose EXACTLY the right length of bolt for your setup. It’s actually a pretty poor design for attaching to your press. If they’d skipped the inserts and just drilled holes in the thing, you could drop a bolt in from the top, and it wouldn’t matter how long it was. (Either way, they could have just included a few different length bolts to save you a trip to the store.) 3. The T-tracks embedded in the table are over 7” from the drill center. This means it’s going to be hard to use a standard hold-down to secure small workpieces, or for anything near the end of a board, etc. 4. THE FENCE ISN’T SQUARE. After I got everything assembled and made some modifications to fit my press, only then did I realize that the bottom of the aluminum bar that makes up the fence is NOT flat. It’s cupped, so when I clamp it down (on the back side) the front side tips up almost 1/16”!!! This also means that the front face is not perpendicular to the table. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement part, but it had exactly the same cupping issue. If I hadn’t already cut the table to fit my space, I’d return the whole thing. As it is, I might try to mill the piece straight, add a shim to the back, or replace it with a better part. Regardless, this is completely unacceptable. ... show more

  • A little disappointed
The table is solid and has a nice fence, but the mounting hardware on the underside significantly limits bolt placement AND the biggest letdown is the T-Tracks. They are too small for standard T-Track mounting bolts.

  • Works much better than having to use big clamps (that tend to get in the way) to hold down a stop.
I love how i now have a stop to keep the material I am drilling in place. I removed the 4 bolt down inserts that came installed with the woodriver table, I didn't have any threaded bolts in my shop that fit these inserts. I then lined up the woodriver table onto my cast iron table and marked the 4 holes, seeing that I removed the 4 bolt down inserts that came with the woodriver table my pencil fit nicely through the holes . I then removed the woodriver table and drilled 4 holes through the cast drill press table and used 4 bolts and nuts to install the woodriver table. I tightened the bolt and nut enough so the woodriver insert wood lie flush, The woodriver table is constructed from MDF material. Another little trick I came up with is that if you buy some toilet hold down bolts you can use them in the t-tracks to make your own jigs, I had a handfull of them in my bucket of miscellaneous bolts and nuts . ... show more

  • Takes some time to set up on my Delta 18"
No way to attach it to Delta table. Drilled holes for T-nuts to slide in slots on drill press table. Powertec hold down T-bolt head too wide for tracks on the WoodRiver table. Had to grind them to make them narrow enough to fit.

  • Cautionary Note: Insert screws are M6 (1.00)
The inserts on the back are M6 (1.00). The instructions do not include thread spec., which would be helpful to know since they do point out that you have to purchase your own screws separately. In fact WoodRiver has a habit of mixing SAE and Metric hardware on other pieces.

  • Pleased with the Product
i was a bit concern with the quality of the MDF rather than plywood. i thought plywood would have been better but the MDF did very well as I fastened it to my drill press and performed flawlessly. I believe the nut for anchoring on the drill press table is in millimeter so look for the right hardware. ... show more

  • Instuctions are not very good
A good product at a good price. Installation could be made easier with better instructions. Once installed, it functions well.
