The Woodhaven 12 foot black 3/4 cord outdoor firewood racks are a great addition to anyone who enjoys burning a large amount of firewood year round. Its heavy-duty construction features hand arc welded end sections and laser precise drilled holes. This outdoor log holder is great for storing the largest wood piles outside in a clean and professional manner. The Woodhaven black 12 foot firewood rack comes with: 2 welded uprights, 6 four foot drilled bottom tubes and 6 connecting brackets. Nuts and bolts are also included in each package. The rack comes with a 7/16 inch wrench. For assembly a rubber mallet is recommended if bolts are a little hard to insert. This 12 foot black firewood rack does feature a seasoning cover. Making it perfect for those looking to place this log rack in an area that is exposed to the elements. The seasoning cover allows the top level of wood dry while exposing the majority of wood to the sun and wind. This promotes curing and better burning firewood. The volume of this firewood rack is figured based on 24 inch long log splits. Cover Imported.

Love this Woodhaven wood rack so much I just bought another! Sturdy and so well made. Easier assembly with 2 people and definitely worth the extra money because this rack is superior quality than other manufacturers. You truly get what you pay for. The bolt holes could be cleaned out a bit better to allow easier go through but definitely not a huge issue. Once you load with wood there is no wiggle. I bought the 12’ to supplement another rack and allow me to order bulk wood to offset the $7/gal heating oil bills this winter. It holds almost 3/4 of a cord. Note that the 12’ is just a 4’ with extra horizontal bottom tubes added, sort of like adding a leaf to a dinner table (if your dinner table requires stainless steel bolts/nuts). This rack is heavy and well built and arrives complete with a top cover and even a couple of lightweight wrenches (though see below.) There are a couple of minor design issues that should be addressed at this price point: Installation is not the simplest process. Some parts are glued into the box which is good for the stability of the box while shipping, but you should have a boxcutter handy when you open it. Assembly instructions are limited but the online video is highly recommended. I guess you could put this together alone, but it is much easier with someone else to hold things in position while dealing with the bolts. All the holes are pre-drilled but many bolts required extra effort to thread as the pre-drilled holes were very snug. I think this might be the coating overspray getting into the holes. The provided wrenches work, but if you have at least one closed end 7/16” wrench it will be much easier. Note that you will need two wrenches to do this assembly. Even better would be an electric screwgun which is what they use in the video, but it’s a nice touch that they supply workable wrenches as part of the kit. The extra hardware (one of each) is also a nice touch. Read the instructions and you should be fine. When assembled, the rack is sold, though the inward-facing feet makes the whole thing a bit precarious in the front-to-back dimension. A wider base on the foot and having it extend outward would help here and are the difference between a 4 and 5 star review. I would give it four and a half, but that’s not the way this works. Note that there are Support Bases for sale which will add another $50 which seems extortionate for 8 small bits of ABS Plastic. These should just be included at this price. Pay attention to the admonition to never put the rack on anything but a solid, level surface, even with the Support Bases, and this should not be an issue. The cover is heavy and well made and hasn’t moved despite the gale blowing outside right now… In conclusion, this is a quality product which you would expect for the price. ... show more

I was able to assemble it myself (took a bit of balancing but still). It is quite sturdy and quite pleasant looking when full up. The 3/4 cord of wood doesn't even pretend to stress the rack. Lots of other wood racks are flimsy or bend or otherwise are chinsy, but not this one. I almost didn't due to the price, but I'm glad I took the chance and bought this firewood rack! ... show more

Just assembled 12' rack. It says on the box it is for 3/4 cord, but on Amazon it does Not say (at least I could not ascertain). I needed the 16' for a full cord and would have ordered 16' if it had said that on Amazon. The big issue: assembly was Not easy, primarily because not all bolts would slide easily into the holes! I had to Force several bolts to go through. Holes need to be larger! The video w husband and wife was indispensable, for showing best way to assemble -- even though they make it look Much easier than it is! You s/ use a torque wrench or power tool. ... show more

I am so glad I didn't go with a lot of the cheaper thinner gage log racks available. Stacking a lot of heavy green billets will not bend or buckle this product. . Expensive but well worth the price. I was also surprised how heavy the tarp cover was, got extra nuts and bolts too, and two free gifts. The 12 foot version (I bought two) is so heavy it takes two to lift it....about 75 lbs each. ... show more

I wish everything I bought on Amazon was made at this quality. It’s one of the very few purchases for the house, that I just put together and walked away knowing that it is doing exactly what it it’s meant to do with 100% peace of mind (though I’m inclined to say piece of mind here). Very easy to assemble with a socket set and a level. It looks so good, when I make my evening cocktail I walk around the side of the house and just kind of stare at it. I really waffled when trying to decide if I would buy this due to some of the reviews here, but went for it and am really glad I did. The rack is just awesome. My wife and I put it together in probably 30 minutes. You will need to use your own socket wrench but other than that it was a breeze. All parts fit perfectly with a couple of taps with a hammer at times to push the bolts through. It is sturdy and looks great. Very impressive when loaded up with wood. The cover is also a great feature. Not flimsy at all and can be opened in the front with the velcro side fasteners for easy access to the top layer of wood.
