Volume a bit low without external speaker. I contacted manufacturer and received satisfactory explanation. It's somewhat easy to use the remote but still a bit difficult. The picture quality is good. Great picture for a Blue Ray DVD portable, but very poor quality for a regular DVD. Speakers absolutely suck, but will probably be fine for a traveling child. If one is going to sacrifice quality for convenience, I’d buy a cheaper and smaller DVD player and accept the poor quality. We retuned this player because it wasn’t fitting our needs where quality of picture and sound are needed. ... show more

After 1 month the unit would no longer power on. I contacted Wonnie through the email address and through the Amazon site. No response. I now own a boat anchor. Edit: customer service for Wonnie is outstanding. They are resolving the issue. Thank you Wonnie.

It’s obvious that this was a product that was used by somebody else beforehand because there was no way to adjust the color of the sound and that’s not usual for a new product. Somebody else had already adjusted it before I owned it and made it difficult for me to readjust it. Also, the usage was not transparent and difficult to use ... show more
