got in excellent condition just thought it was strange that it was completely dead when I got it wouldn't even start up got a little worried till started charging it but think it's strange that it's renewed and tested why would it be dead?

Product arrived and the battery was shot. I could not get the unit to take a charge. Tried different plugs and power sources and nothing. Don't waste your money on this.

Mine came in brand new shape, not a single scratch or mark. Only thing is that it came in an Amazon renewed box instead of an apple one (which they may have done for the legal reasons of reselling these?) cuz the iPod is literally brand new. love my original classic, had to update b/c now i want to use earbuds. a bit expensive b/c they are no longer being made but my renewed one works perfectly - battery charges to full which is good b/c it does use a lot of energy. took me a little while to get used to it but now it's all good. i'm hoping it's the last one i'll ever have to buy. i recommend the renewed product. ... show more
