I can't speak for everyone, but these work great for me personally. They seem to be very gentle and effective on an upset stomach while still tasting good. I also feel they are less chalky than other options out there.

I don't often take antacids, but when I do.... I don't want a mouth full of chemicals. These are not chalky, have decent flavors (if that's your thing), and no bad chemicals. Oh and they work, of course, since it's basically a chunk of calcium carbonate. Costs more, but totally worth it. Big bonus is the metal tins, which make great storage for other stuff. ... show more

Antacid pills only sort of work on me. These work as well as any. But they taste better and are higher dosage, so I don’t have to take as many. The packaging is a little precious. The metal canister, the shipping box printed inside and out, designed to look upbeat. So funny story. I ordered these antacids because I was sick to death of the aftertaste of tums, and to their credit these tablets- while they DO have a hint of that flavor, inevitable because of the calcium- are much easier on the taste buds. I also ordered strawberry milkshake and got...watermelon mint. I didn't care enough to complain- they're antacids, not bonbons. Still, the watermelon mint? A good choice. Anyway, yes they're gonna be dusty and chalky. They're antacids, we aren't here for aesthetics we're here because that garlic and chicken cheese pull apart bread at 2pm was a Mistake and we don't have to admit it to anyone if we take the medicine and shut up like adults. I bought these just that I wouldn't have to support P&G (Tums), and I figured they would be reasonable enough as a replacement. I was wrong, they were much better. They taste more simple and smooth (versus the weird chalky chemical taste of Tums), and they helped a lot more quickly and I only needed to chew one. This is all just my personal opinion. These work decently well. I took them while pregnant. However, the aftertaste was bad and left my mouth feeling nasty. I prefer Genexa antacids if you’re looking for a clean ingredient alternative to tums
