I really like the jacket. It’s a medium weight puffer jacket. Good for fall or winter if you wear a sweater under it. It sits slightly fitted around the waist so it’s flattering at least in terms of winter coats. It’s got a big hood for snowy days.     • NOT a winter coat! A raincoat with a little fluff maybe....

I am from Northern Wisconsin, so I have high expectations when it comes to snow gear. But honestly, this is the poorest excuse for a "winter" coat that I have ever come across. I have rain jackets that are made out of a thicker material than this. The external fabric is paper thin. And honestly, the outside "fabric" feels cheap and platicy to the touch. The padding they used inside for warmth, is literally just fluff. No different than what should you find inside a cheap children's stuffed plush animal toy. The fluff moves around inside the jacket far too easy to provide real warmth or protection from the wind. In addition, there are no real cuffs. I laughed when I saw them how poorly this was designed at the wrists. Plus the zipper is inexpensive feeling and I suspect it will break immediately. I can't think of one nice thing to write about this coat. I wouldn't even donate this jacket to charity, it is that unusable. Straight in the trash. ... show more

This is a really nice jacket for the fall and winter seasons. It's very lightweight and doesn't feel heavy at all. It fits true to size and has a bit of wiggle room so it's easy to thrown on a sweater underneath. I can't say it seems like the warmest winter coat but should great for the less cold days. The zipper seems pretty sturdy and well made. The jacket material is very comfortable so far. I like that it's waterproof and the hoodie offers great protection. So far, this seems like a pretty solid jacket but maybe not for the super cold days unless you wear a sweater underneath. ... show more

I ordered several things from this brand to try and they have all been great! Either Slow Town or Slow Down -- they have the same branding, so I assume they're the same. I find coats extremely hard to fit bc they have to fit all parts of your body at once. But somehow this brand works perfectly for me and my pear shaped body! :) I'm a M top, L bottom, and I ordered a M. It fits perfectly! Not too tight in the hips / bum. Compared to the others I tried, this one is a tiny bit looser, and it's much more puffy and warm. Perfect for cold weather. The light khaki color is really unique and beautiful. It's like a grey pearl / oyster color, with a very slight sheen. Really elegant. I had a silk sweater from Banana Republic a million years ago that looked like this that I wore to death. The zipper is super sturdy and bold and cool looking, but I wish it were a two-way zip. My only major complaint - the hood seems to be cut kind of small / narrow. It lays kind of weird, and it's not removable. Feels kind of awkward when you try to zip up the neck but wear it with the hood down. ... show more
