  • Temperature reading doesn’t work
Size: 100W(for 5-13 gallon )
The temperature gage consistently says the tank is 90+ degrees and won’t heat the water. The water is cold to the touch. I have it set at 78 degrees and it says the actual temp is 85+ or beeps saying “HH” (which is what the device does when it reads that the water is too hot). Have unplugged, cleaned, tried everything possible to reset. Won’t change. Gave me a dud ... show more

  • Great Digital Heater
Size: 300W(for 26-53 gallon)
I really like this heater. The temperature control hangs outside the tank so it is easier to adjust. Easy to read with large numbera. Only thing I would change is the length of the cord from the temperature control to the outlet. But all in all it is great!

  • Temperature warning alarm.
Size: 300W(for 26-53 gallon)
The warning alarm is great, my fish are safe from any irregularities in temperatures. It continues to beep until I stop ✋ it.

  • Thermostat malfunction after 100 days service
Size: 500W(for 53-79 gallon)
Seem like this unit last ight past it's warranty return Window. Thermostat always read falsely high about 8 degrees but I monitored that with a secondary. Today the alarm keep going off and reporting over 30 degrees Celsius. Actual tank temperature is 74, as it's stopped heating. Not a good purchase. 😕 ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY.
Size: 500W(for 53-79 gallon)
Heater is fully submersed and is switching between error codes hh and ll and is not heating the water. Unit has failed after less than a month of use. UPDATE: Bought a 2nd heater and it also failed.

  • Had a hard time keeping correct temp, very large for my tank
Size: 100W(for 5-13 gallon )
I have a 6 gal tank so fairly small but the 50w heater I got previously seemed to be having a hard time keeping the temp up, so I decided to try this 100w. First of all it was a little too long to fit into my tank. The top of it stuck out a cm or so while touching the bottom of the tank. I did like how it has an external temperature control setting and reading box. It has a “actual water temp” and “set temp” so you can see where you’re tank is at. It seemed to me that I had to set the temp a few degrees higher than I needed for it to get to the temp that I wanted. I have a small filter and air stone circulating the water and since it’s a fairly small tank I thought that was enough. But it didn’t seem to be. I had a really hard time keeping the tank consistent. But it is nice that it has a beeping alarm that goes off when supposedly your aquarium is too hot for any fish. I’ve had this tank for several years so I have a hard time believing that it was anything I did wrong. I just don’t thick the thermometer was very accurate but I liked the design. ... show more
