I purchased the wolfbox G900 Pro because i have been using wolfbox products for many years with great success, and i like the ability this unit has, to download videos easily, to my phone. i trust the name. the reason i upgrade to the wolfbox G900 Pro is because this unit has the ability to connect to my phone and easily allow the videos to be transferred to my phone, as well as live viewing of the vehicle, if ever needed. as with all of the wolfbox dashcams i have used, the low light capabilities of the wolfbox G900 Pro is extremely high quality. i am not disappointed. furthermore, this product is clearly a high quality product in every detail. including, ease of use. i read some of the negative comments about this product and i have not experienced one of the mentioned negatives. the screen brightness is exceptional. the screen is extremely clear and easy to see both in daylight, as well as at night time. i research products extensively before making a purchase. this product (wolfbox G900 Pro) delivers on every promise. installation is intuitive, and fast, but if you are uncomfortable with installation, i recommend having a professional perform the installation for you, if needed. special thanks to wolfbox, for making another great product. i cannot recommend this product enough. for the price, this product provides extremely good quality, and a perfect balance of functionality, and intuitive ease of use. if my experience changes, i will update this review. ... show more

I wanted a digital rearview mirror and a dash camera. The g900 pro came highly recommended after much research. After a smooth install, I am loving the final product. Only thing I’ll upgrade is a new mount from the company to replace the oem mirror all together. Great clarity and it’s a great looking item too. Works great! ... show more

    • As described, although not the best possible
This served the purpose and was easiy to install. My first one, the rear camera was faulty so after installation I needed to exchange it for a whole new system just to replace the rear camera. But the second time, it worked perfectly. The controls are a bit excessive for what it actually does, and half of them are unecessary. And the "night vision" barely amplifies the rear view, where you need it, but it DOES amplify it a bit so it's better than just a mirror. Images are crisp and clear otherwise. It did exactly what I needed, which was give me a rear-view since my actual mirror could not see well through my hatchback tinting. So I had to mount it outside on top of my hatchback, but that turned out fine and there are numerous places you can mount it including inside of the car pointing backwards. Overall, I'd prefer a stronger night vision amplifier but it does what I needed and seems to be working fine after a couple months of daily use. ... show more

    • Expensive, but SUPERB quality.
Love the camera quality up front, and mostly of the rear camera. Voice control would be nicer if you could select Split Via voice instead of front or rear. Purchased separately the rear camera mount, as well as the hardwire kit to activate the 24 hour Sentry mode (which is also VERY nice!) Interface is snappy, 12 inch touch screen is clear. Works quite well with very little effort. Installs easily. Aproximately a year ago I had purchased and installed a JOMISE 4K Mirror Dash Cam. It was aproximately 33% the price, so I won't harp on its interface being slower, or its cameras being of a lower resolution. That unit was in a car that was broken into and was stollen. So, be aware that putting higher end (looking or actual) electronics in your car DOES make you a target. Regardless, my reason for mentioning the prior unit is as a means of saying that at least when it comes to Wolfbox (and in particular the 900 pro) you pay for quality, and you get quality. The former unit which was considerably cheaper got the job done, and I don't really regret its features for the price. But it couldn't hold a candle to this more premium device. DO buy the hardwire kit (either the fuse plug version, which I bought, or the plug and play OBD2 version), DO buy the rear camera mount kit. If your feeling extra spendy. buy the replacement 'oem style' mount and remove your old mirror. I did NOT do this, though I feel it MIGHT make it at least a few seconds harder to steal from your car. Replace the included 64G SD card with a 128G (SanDisk is what I used) if you plan on using the Sentry function. Final note, ask your insurance company if they have a discount for having this type of device. Some do, some don't. But every dollar counts these days. ... show more

The good. 1. Hardware Decent quality mirror. 2. Front Camera Fairly clear picture quality 3. Installation Easy The not so good. 1. Icons and widgets No option to disable/remove the icons or widgets, especially the clock. I have yet to see, for over 50 years, a vehicle that does not have a clock. Update: new firmware now have this option. 2. Direct mount Limited options 3. Dimming No auto dimming The bad and very ugly. 1. Boot up time It took too long to boot up. By the time it's up and running, you're already well on your way... in the forward direction. The sad part is, this thing is hardwired. USELESS. 2. Rear camera picture quality. Please see attached. That doesn't look "Sony Starvis"...ish as claimed. That is as useless a camera as any $20 camera sold on here. Good luck trying to read the plate numbers out of that. USELESS. The thing is specifically designed to replace the rear view mirror. It failed spectacularly. ... show more
