    • Pretty good overall.
The metal construction of the treat skewers is great, though it's a bit thinner than expected and the wing nut is small. It can be a bit tricky to get the hex nut and wing nut onto the end properly, but if you don't have arthritis or similar issues it shouldn't be too difficult. The xylophone I'm not sure about - so far, I haven't seen or heard it being used at all by my birds. Though it has metal keys, the frame is actually really soft, unfinished wood and I don't expect it will last long outside. I may try hanging it inside the coop during winter, but if the birds ignore it what's the point? The mirror is just 'meh'. I have only put it into a brood box with chicks, but removed it as they seemed to be more confrontational toward their reflections than anything else. Again, I may try hanging it inside the coop during winter when they are adults to see if that makes a difference. Overall, I kind of wish I'd only bought the treat skewers. ... show more

    • Nice Items To Help Fight Winter Boredom For Hens
The fruit and veggie skewers were huge hits with my hens! They didn’t really care for the xylophone and bells. Skewers are well made and one will hold an entire head of cabbage or lettuce. We put apples and carrots on the other. Veggies are held on to the skewer with a hex nut so they don’t fall off. All pieces come with a locking hook. This is certainly helping my hens fight winter boredom. They peck the veggies back and forth like tetherball! I like that the food actually stays clean and gets eaten! ... show more

    • Dangerous broken mirror
The xylophone was great, the hanging veggie holder spikes seem decent but do not anticipate the mirror on the end of the xylophone to be intact. I returned it the first time for it being shattered and the replacement was even more broken to the point I just got a refund. Considering its meant for animals, primary example being chickens, this is not something I could use without endangering the animals. ... show more

Ordered two sets. Xylophones are great. Did not receive vegetable hangers in either set. Extremely disappointed.

    • Looks cute
This product is cute, but the wood is very thin and untreated so it likely won't last long through the elements. The "feeders" have a wingnut and a regular nut to keep the fresh treats in place. The regular nut is small. All 3 have been hanging in our chicken area for a week and so far not a single chicken or rooster have attempted to eat from or play with any of the items. The baby ducks have pecked at the mirror (not really a mirror, more of a cloudy silvery material). ... show more

    • Cheap and easy to use
I got this for 7 Bucks so I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but like some other purchasers, my mirror was broken so I'll be removing that since it's a danger. I took the xylophone and spray-painted it on the bottom and sides so hopefully that'll help it last a little bit longer. The chicken toys are a great way to keep your chickens entertained. My hens have discovered the mirror and are inquisitive but have not yet discovered the xylophone but I’m sure they will soon.
