    • Great cage, but needs locking wheels!
Great cafe, but it’s assembly is kind of confusing. I guess it didn’t help that quite a few pieces of mine came bent. To make it even worse, the pieces that were bent were the 4 main pieces of the skirt. Out of the whole thing the skirt was the worse part to put together and having it bent made it much worse! Don’t get it twisted though, even if you get one and it’s 100% undamaged, you’ll probably still have to mess with the skirt to get it together. Besides that it’s a great cage. It’s fairly sturdy, nice to look at, easy to clean and it’s locking door mechanism is great. My only one complaint (other than the general design of the skirt area) is that they didn’t put locks on any of the wheels!? I don’t understand how that could be an oversight? Just about all items I’ve seen with coaster wheels have locks on 2 out of the 4 wheels so it blows my mind that this cage which carries a living being in it didn’t come with such a basic safety feature! I was skeptical to purchase this because of all the negative reviews. First things first I made sure I had all the parts and screws and that nothing was broken, damaged or missing. I did have a second pair of hands that made it so much more helpful. I have to say, yes the instructions suck but if you scroll down under product videos...Lary.G a previous customer has a great video of how to take the bird cage apart. It was very very helpful. That was my instructions and my gf and I put the cage together in about 1 hour. Pay attention to every piece how it looks and how it connects and goes together. Once the cage was put together my sun conure seemed to really like it. I have another cage similar to this one and thought it was a good cage. I haven't had it for long so I'm not sure how the door will withhold up but if anything happens to it I will put an update review. Over all so far so good 👍 I like how the bar space isn't to wide. I do agree that something like macaw probably could break the bars. They are not as thick or sturdy but they are perfect for my medium size parrot. This cage is to small for a macaw.     • Really Nice Cage But Poor and Sharp Welding
I love this cage, but I have to agree with what some other reviewers have indicated--the directions that come with it are useless. I found two videos on Youtube--including one of a girl putting together her new similar parrot cage--and by going back and forth between them was able to assemble the cage in about an hour. It's a shame because the cage is not hard to assemble--it just needs to come with directions. More seriously, after one week the door fell off the cage. The upper right attachment piece on the cage just broke off where it was welded. I used zip ties to re-attach the door, but unfortunately, this means the door can only open a few inches instead of comfortably opening wide. At the point where the welding broke off, a very sharp metal piece remained. I believe this may be the cause of the missing claw/toe tip on my baby mockingbird. So it's really a shame. Otherwise I would have only good things to say about the cage. ... show more

Well made but the directions are wonky. Some descriptions in the instructions are not relevant to the product. Extreme language barrier whoever wrote the instructions. Please rewrite or have an English speaking person to rewrite the instructions. In no way is that meant to be hateful. I did put this together myself. I’m 5’3 so it took quite a bit of wrestling to get it to stand as I pieced it together. It can be done. It is a very strong & sturdy cage! Super easy to clean and maintain. I am very pleased with this product & design. I do feel that for the money I spent on this, it was worth it!! ... show more

Absolutely love this cage for the price! It looks like a high end cage but very affordable. The side pieces seem a bit flimsy when you put it together but once it’s assembled, it’s an all together sturdy cage. I made the decision to take off the play stand that came with it and bought a different one, but that’s just me. The seed catcher is awesome! It doesn’t get everything but there is still a ton of food and mess I’m picking up due to that little lifesaver. I have the larger size for my cockatiel and will soon be adding a second bird and there is plenty of room. I do recommend replacing the dishes for smaller birds as the ones that come wish are quite deep and could cause a drowning risk. Overall, great buy! ... show more

    • Buyer beware!
I ordered this for my African Gray. Paid $190.00 for the product with shipping. It was pretty easy to put together, however, there were defects. The side food bowl was welded upside down so the door wouldn't stay closed and the top only sits on the cage and wouldn't sit secure. There is no way my bird would have stayed inside. I requested for the product to be returned and got the email for the shipping label. The shipping label was marked as needing postage. The cost for UPS to ship it back was $193.00. So it would cost me the same to ship back as what I paid for the product with $50.00 shipping to only hopefully get back what I originally paid for. I would still be out the same price. Don't buy this product! (unless you have a small bird LOL) ... show more
