I live on the top 3rd floor in an apartment with no elevator. I actually sold all of my very heavy nice quality bedroom furniture before I moved up here (I’m single and really need stuff I can manage mostly on my own). This was a great purchase it looks nice, and super lightweight and simple enough to put together. I do recommend using your own Philips head screwdriver for the drawer handles but otherwise it was quick and easy. When I move into a house, this would be great in a laundry room or walk in closet. It’s perfect for my needs and can see myself keeping it for other purposes later on down the road. The price is steep for what it is but it’s a big heavy box and arrived quickly. Technically you could buy nice furniture at a thrift store or something for a similar price, but again I can’t haul it up and down the stairs in my own. I can easily manage this. ... show more

I bought this dresser for my college apartment, and I'm pretty happy with it overall. It wasn't too hard to assemble by myself, it took me maybe an hour altogether. It's about what you'd expect from a fabric dresser, the storage is good and the drawers work (if you get annoyed when you pull a dresser drawer and it comes out all the way, this is not the product for you). My biggest complaint is the smell that came with the drawers. Oh my god, it was awful! It was a plasticky, almost fishy smell that lingered for a good while. Maybe I was imagining it after a couple days (I asked my roommates and they claimed they couldn't smell anything) but I still felt like I could smell it even after I let it air out with a fan going and windows open for several hours. I was really hoping this would help with storage. I moved to my apartment and my room was smaller than I remembered but this helped with storage so much! It was easy to carry up two flights of stairs. It only took about an hour to set up. The instructors were great. The only annoying part we’re the handles for the drawers, but once I got the hang of it, it went fine. The fabric is nice and there isn’t really a smell. That was a concern of mine based on reviews, but it was nonexistent. The wood is a nicer color than I expected. It fit perfectly in my room and it gave me extra room as well. I really liked the result! I assembled it alone, and I have a screwdriver--It took about an hour. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not find the instructions annoying. Instead, it was helpful and a little funny to me! There was only one small thing that could be mentioned, and because of that, I ended up not being able to install the small diagonal support pieces (I was too lazy to go back halfway and correct that mistake). I needed a small dresser in the pinch. It gets the job done, holds all the clothes, is a good size, etc. it does what it needs to, and looks classier than just the normal cubicle with fabric buckets. But giiiiiirl when I tell you, those instructions were almost useless. The only words 95% of the time were “don’t tighten screws until all are in place”. There were 7 steps and those were the only words for 5 of them. Then they give some terrible diagram that you would think would be easy but they could save you SO much time if they actually explained it, rather than printing two small cluttered diagrams per page. What should’ve taken 45 minutes to an hour took me over 2 because pieces where attached backwards or two what seemed like identical poles were supposed to be switched (but there weren’t words to tell you it mattered) so I had take it all apart. Like I said. Really great product, but be prepared to be thrown to the wolves with those instructions ... show more

I like how this isn’t a heavy piece of furniture. It was easy to assemble and perfect for our nursery. Plenty of room for all our baby’s clothes. We used 5 big drawers for different sizes up to a year old, the 6th big drawer for extra bedding, and the 3 smaller drawers for socks, hair bows, and newborn onesies! The other reason I like how lightweight the drawers are, is when my baby gets bigger and is getting into things if she happens to pull out a drawer it’s not going to potentially hurt her. I needed something temporary for my bedroom. This was easy to put together and looks nice BUT has a really bad smell. The fabric drawers stink, I've had it for a month thinking the smell would go away but it hasn't. I bought the side tables and another one for my son's room and all the fabrics have this distinct smell, some being worse. When I walk into the room I can smell it.
