It’s rare to actually get something that is better than you expected. That seems to be the case with these lights. They are surprisingly bright at full power, but you can lower and increase the power as you see fit. I’ve tried different lights for spotlights and usually they’re either too dim or they require an electrical connection. With the advancements in LEDs, this light is definitely a five star purchase. I do need to learn how to make it come on when it’s dark and turn off when it’s not. But that’s on me to determine. If I am unable to do that, I will come back here and add that to my review. ... show more

Love them, but I’ll deduct one star for battery life. They’re elegant and give the right amount of light for my purposes. However, because I put them on the ceiling to illuminate wall art on one wall and a plant on the floor against another wall, I spend too much time on step ladders to charge and reposition the lights. Spotlight is great, battery is as expected (mid) but remote control is very poor quality. No matter how close you get, far away, moving around, whatever, it works MAYBE 1 time out of 10. Ive gone through all the trouble shooting, replaced the battery with an Energizer brand battery, but in lieu of being able to contact the seller for other support, have to leave a remote. ... show more

Bought this to replace a wired up light on my mantel because I was tired of seeing the wires. As you can see in the pic, it’s pretty much invisible behind the candles. The timer and remote is a nice feature so we don’t need to remember to turn it off at bedtime. My only complaint is the battery doesn’t last long. For an LED battery, I expected it to last longer. lights were easy to install on the ceiling with simple metal plate to hold the lamp magnets. Pull lamp off to remove for charging.
