I have played this more than I thought I would. It brings back the nostalgia of the 80’s on up with classic hits that still has the game battles that I would have lost many quarters on years ago. I remember waiting inline at the Sears store just to try out the demo Atari tank battle! Until mom said it was time to go. Now, I sit in a chair with the same game playing till my hearts content. it worked fine for the first week. then i didnt use for a one week and decided to play some games. now it will not work to my surprise. dont waste your money and stay away from this!!!

It’s almost overwhelming, there are so many games from my childhood, I even recognized some later ones from adulthood. There is a search function that does work well. I wish the controllers were rechargeable but they are not. The controllers seem sturdy, I’ll see if they are as tough as the old PlayStation ones. A memory card is included, so you can save game progress and even save games to a favorites folder area. I think the hardest part will be figuring out button mappings from the original game to the PS2 style controller. I’m going to have to spend some mindless time putting together a favorites list and dig into some of the emulators /platforms I’m not as familiar with. I was excited to receive this and play some old games from when I was young. Born in the late 70s I had all the retro consoles. Atari , Nintendo, SEGA, SuperNES and the lost goes on. I was sorely disappointed in the graphics and game play of this product. Most of the games severely lags in the middle of play and makes it pretty much unplayable. There are a few of the simpler older games that play ok but for the most part it was a disappointment and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND biying this particular unit. I was really hoping for a much better product than I received. If it hadn’t been on sale I would’ve sent it back but the effort and time it takes to return isn’t worth the 35$ I paid.     • Most Action Games Unplayable Due to Non Working Controller and Terrible Lag
Terrible lag with the controllers makes most action games unplayable. There are times when the controller just starts scrolling through menus and options on its own. You literally can set the controller down and not touch it and will keep going. for several minutes. Many games especially the newer PS style, the controllers do not work with. It does have a ton of games, but many are actually duplicates. There are strategy type games such as chess, wheel of fortune, poker, slots that are playable with the poor quality controllers and lag.
