Description

The world's most powerful Console. Games play better on Xbox One x. With 40% more power than any other Console, experience immersive true 4K gaming. Blockbuster titles look great, run smoothly, and load quickly even on a 1080p screen. Xbox One x also works with all your Xbox One games and accessories as well as Xbox live, the most advanced multiplayer network, giving you more ways to play. Broadband internet required (ISP fees apply). online multiplayer requires Xbox live Gold subscription (sold separately - ISP fees may apply)Do I need a 4K TV to benefit from the Xbox One X? No. The power provided by the Xbox One X allows developers to use techniques like supersampling, anisotropic filtering, and others to produce a better 1080p image. Additionally, games will have the ability to run at higher framerates and with faster load times.1What is supersampling? Supersampling is a technique game developers can use to improve graphical fidelity. By utilizing the additional power of the Xbox One X, developers can process images at a higher resolution, and then scale them down to fit the display resolution the player is using. Supersampled images reduce aliasing (commonly referred to as "jaggies") and generally look "cleaner" to the naked eye compared to a non-supersampled image at the same resolution. Will my current controllers and accessories work with Xbox One X? All Xbox One accessories (controllers, headsets, chatpads, remotes, etc.) will work with Xbox One X. Kinect for Xbox One is also compatible with Xbox One X via the Xbox Kinect Adapter (sold separately). Will there be two different versions of games—one for the Xbox One S and one for the Xbox One X? No. There will be one version of all games and they will work on all Xbox One consoles.

  • This isn't a "True 4K" console, despite what Microsoft claims. But it is an incredible machine nonetheless.
Color: Black
I'd rate the Xbox One X a 4 1/2 star, but since that isn't possible on the Amazon rating system, I'll go ahead and award this console a 5-star. I had no intention of purchasing the Xbox One X because I'm an owner of a PS4 Pro and a high-end gaming PC that's equipped with a GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid. But my wife wouldn't take no for an answer when I told her that I didn't want anything for my birthday, so I gave in :D. The console is smaller than its predecessors, but it's surprisingly heavy. The design is sleek, which I find far more attractive than the sandwich-design of the PS4 Pro. Compared to Sony's DS4, I much prefer the feel and look of the Xbox One controller, especially in FPS games. However, I still do not understand why Microsoft is so reluctant to include a rechargeable battery pack for the controller or a micro-USB cord (the PS4 comes with both!). I have a handful of micro-USB cords lying around, but they defeat the purpose of the wireless functionality of the controller. I don't want to spend money on freaking AA batteries whenever they run out of juice. And I sure as hell don't want to spend extra on rechargeable battery packs. The Xbox One X is $500! FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS! With that premium price, at least make the controller rechargeable like the DS4. In terms of performance, the X is indeed a monster, but not the kind that Microsoft would like you to believe. Despite their claim that this console can deliver "true 4k," the X utilizes the same checkerboard technology of the PS4 Pro, albeit with a higher resolution. If you are still uncertain, you can look up videos by Digital Foundry, who delves into great technical detail regarding the performance of the Xbox One X. The console's 6 teraflop video card is very powerful for a gaming device of its kind, but it pales in comparison to what's currently available in the GPU market. Games that were released in the last three years will look incredible and perform well on the X due to the higher horsepower. But AAA titles are becoming more hardware demanding every year, so it'll be interesting to see how the Xbox One X carry itself in the next 2-4 years, assuming the console cycle will last that long. In the meantime, however, all multi-platform games will undoubtedly look better on the X than they will on the PS4 Pro. But sadly, Microsoft's library of exclusive games is anemic. While Sony continues to push out enticing previews of upcoming exclusive games, Microsoft backpedals to the games of the past. The list is quite vast, but most of the Xbox 360 games that I own and want to play have yet to be made backwards compatible, which renders the functionality completely pointless at this time. As a long time ardent fan of the Halo series, I would love to play Halo: Reach with an Xbox One X enhanced visuals, HDR, and 60fps. But given 343 Industries' peculiar reluctance to support the fan favorite Halo game, I highly doubt that Reach will ever receive the upgrade that it deserves. So please, Microsoft and 343, do yourselves and the fans a favor: give Halo: Reach, one the best Xbox 360 exclusive titles, an Xbox One X Enhancement! Regardless of Microsoft's misleading claims, the X packs quite a bit for $500. Unlike the PS4 Pro, the Xbox One X is equipped with a 4k HDR Blu-ray player, which alone retails for $200. Thus, the console is a very well rounded home device, and it also gives me a reason to start collecting movie DVDs again. And in 4K HDR! Combine all this with my new LG 43UJ63 that I purchased recently, my setup is practically complete! My final criticism regarding the X is its limited storage capacity. 1TB may seem large, but it will fill up extremely fast due to the 4K assets of enhanced games. ... show more

  • Fourth time's the charm 9.2/10
Color: Black
Before i even try and explain if this is worth the $500 price tag One thing every consumers needs to know before buying this particular version of the Xbox One If you do NOT have a Ultra HD tv/4K tv save your cash do Not buy this....... This is pretty much Microsoft version of the XBox One Pro It's main selling point is 4K content save your money for a 4k tv then after the Holiday hype/push get this Console when you have a 4K tv and it's given a proper SRP Some gamers are being extremely dishonest and saying you don't need a 4k tv to enjoy this version of the XBox One It's ideal for a 4k tv/monitor This is the fourth Xbox One I've bought in less then 4 years which is crazy I'll openly admit as a consumer I've been a "mark" plenty of times this generation But, to be fair this generation has been horrible all around between Console Companies, shady developers, "crowdfunded games", and the Toxic Internet trolls each one of us have made this generation really average in general and help make the gaming industry worse in the long run! The XBox One S should have been the real first version of the XBox One released in 2013 But, MS made a number of huge missteps and let the Internet dictate there "Brand" The last 4 years have been anti-climatic to say the least on every platform With the internet having a lot more damaged then good for all consumers All gamers should be on the same page But, it's not that way everyone is to busy fighting over Frames Per second, or picture resolution Brand loyalty should go so far Fast Forward to November 7th 2017 and you have the One X aka XBox One 4k Pro This is for now the most powerful console until the next Generation begins (2-3years from now) Is it worth the somewhat high SRP Yes and No Cons: You should have a Ultra HD tv this system is built around 4K If you have a 1080p HD tv stick with the Xbox One or XBox One S It's a massive waste of money to own this now if you don't have the tv it's made for Have a middle of road Home Theater with two different audio choices in digital optical and HDMI Audio You should have a Home Theater set-up Playing some of these game with DTS sound or Higher enhances the experience 10x almost 1/2 the games during this generation have better pure audio then some of the biggest summer movie block busters The HDMI Cable is cheap much like the cable that was bundled with the XBox One S You'll need a 4K High-Speed HDMI as of late they are dirt cheap at the most you should spend $20 on a replacement Cable You'll need a 4k High-Speed HDMI cable to get the most out of your console and tv 1TB might sound like a lot it's not Make sure you have at least one 4-5tb external Hard Drive The 4k Patches are insanely huge The Quantum Break 4K enhanced patch is almost 200GB Titanfall 2 68.7GB, Wolfenstein 2 51.5BG, The Evil Within 2 29.7GB, Tekken 7 43GB, Rise of the Tomb Raider 30.5GB, Mass Effect: Andromenda 45.5GB, Mafia III 50.2GB, L.A. Noire 17GB (which is a pretty much 4k up scaled) , Homefront: The Revolution 45.5GB, Gears of War 4 107GB, Halo 5 98.3GB Doom 58.7GB, Dishonored 2 54GB, Dead Rising 4 59.1 GB, Assassin's Creed: Origins 43GB, Killer Instinct 47.1 GB, Just Cause 3 47.2GB, Ghost Recon: Wildlands 52.4GB, Agents of Mayhem 45.4GB, Injustice 2 31.8GB, Resident Evil 7 20.4GB The disc tray has been moved more toward the bottom of the unit I don't like the location just seems weird to me maybe it's my OCD? Assassins Creed Origin broke out the gate It looks amazing but, the audio is broken If you were going to get this wait until it gets fixed Pros: a free trial of Xbox Game pass is offered out of the box MS Game Pass is super impressive you pay $10 a month for a laundry list of games from the XBox360 and XBox One This is a must if you are a gamer on a budget or have children (The list is actually very good) When it first launched it got a lot of negative criticism not sure why it's not for everyone but, if you are on a budget it's a no brainier a free week of Xbox Live No power brick (Much like the Xbox One S this version just has a power cord) which might not sound that Important unless you had the first couple of incarnations of the Xbox One they each had this bulky heavy power brick which can effect your tv/gaming set-up The ultra HD Player/drive is a nice extra if you are into movies A great selling point for the Ultra HD Disc format they are region free There are some killer Ultra HD Imports like the Original Dawn of the Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Suspiria (Original) Neon Demon to name a few stand out imports Also Amazon Prime video has really upped there game in there exclusive 4k content The gaming Library is impressive You can play Original XBox Games, (The Original XBox titles is a bit small but, a number of great choices Dead to Rights, Black, Blood Rayne 2, Crimson Skies and a few more The only real draw back with these OG XBox titles is the Graphics look really nice But, the Format is 4:3 XBox 360 on the b/c list has only gotten better within a years time Some titles get a graphic bump example: Alan Wake, Gears of War: Judgement, Red Dead Redemption & Injustice, (You could put the 360 version of Injustice playing on the XBOne side by side with the PS4 Port of Injustice and can Not tell the difference!) and XBox One games on the console **** The Power is real**** The over the top trailers and tv spots using Kanye West song Power at first made me cringe But, it does live up to all the hype and boy is there hype The only two things most people need to realize with these spots/adds AC Origin is amazing looking but, horribly broken (The audio is really jacked-up which effects the over all game play) A story driven open world game should have audio not have massive chunks of dialog drop-out Cuphead is massive smoke, mirrors and Hype! Cuphead isn't enhanced at all and still is beyond hard! (The game is only featured in some of the tv adds due to the amounts of units the game sold) as amazing as that game truly is it's also supper overrated and not for casual gamers Every other enhanced/4k patch truly cranks every game to 15 Rise of The Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, Mafia 3, Injustice 2, The Evil Within 2 Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition All become Super high end 4k games that are stunning....... These 6 games are also not being pushed/mentioned as 4k titles which is a real shame The XBox One version of BioShock Infinite also looks jaw-dropping (It could pass as a high end PC Port) with much better sound since most PC elitist don't even have any type of real home theater sound hooked-up to there gaming rig This console is a solid price (You'd have to drop 4x's this amount for a High End PC that does what the One X can do and PC's can have many more issues between problem installing the disc To viruses on your PC's Gaming Consoles are not known for getting any type of viruses It's a solid home gaming console if you have a 4K tv and like MS exclusives 9.2/10 Microsoft exclusives have been mostly very good But, MS has done a horrible job promoting anything unless it's Halo, Gears of War, and Forza While legit HQ titles like Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Re-Core, and Super Lucky's Tale are all treated like the red headed stepchild ... show more
