With the claim of over 20,000 roms, the sheer number of games on this device is tempting. There are some big caveats. It's almost certain these are mostly unlicensed ROMs, which is a legal gray area. There are also a lot of repeats, and the number seems a bit inflated. Setup is easy, and the wireless controllers are a bit cheap feeling but work well. Unfortunately navigating the game menus is a nightmare. Finding anything specific is a real chore. It's ultimately a cheap way to get a ton of retro games, but the quality and legitimacy of this device is a bit questionable. You'll ultimately get your money's worth out of this device; but I think there are even better options. ... show more

The hardware works good. The controllers are cheap but will be fine for this set. The provided HDMI extender is useful since the dongle is wide and can cover other ports on the back if the TV. Software wise, there are lots and lots of retro games. If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck, this will work well for a cheap retro game night especially since it comes either two controllers. ... show more
